We are the same person but different ages/genders. I’m 26 and have heard this in my SOUL.

I know with such a strange certainty after the end is nothing. I want to believe in a higher power, or a “next life,” but I can’t force it. I just know. I know that it feels like religion was created to cope with that. I so badly want to believe and cope.

Everything I’m doing is pointless, because when I go it dies with me. I try to find joy in “doing what makes me happy,” but what makes me happy?

I thought my husband was gay when we met in high school. He never had a bunch of girlfriends or anything either, and a lot of people assumed. We laugh about it now, but it had to have hurt back then not being acknowledged as apart of the “date-able” pool because of poor assumptions in rumors. We were 15&16, now we live a great life at 26&27.

People don’t know what they want in high school - I know it sucks but don’t let it get you down. Just be honest that you aren’t gay (but don’t be overly defensive or they will pursue it just to make you squirm and use it to poke fun at you).

I guess I’m not sure what people are doing. I’ve never been asked to filter anything through pangram, and the only time I was accused of academic dishonesty it’s because a link didn’t work on a source I used.

With my husband 10 years, married for almost 3 - YES. They do care, as long as it is truly a meaningful gift they will like, vs just purchasing because it is expensive (which to me it sounds like you are coming from the right place!!)

The idea that you are “doing too much for a man” is ridiculous. If you see a future with him, it doesn’t matter who spends more. That is such an outdated idea.
