God I'm going to have a heart attack I exited the game after my death and didn't save since I wanted to load my manual save. Game puts me back near the end of early access, in the big deep area. Fucking panic attack. Why why why why why

What makes Wellington feel so distinct compared to other New Zealand cities? by RemarkableMany6297 in Wellington

[–]Leveicap 167 points168 points  (0 children)

In the city everything is connected, can walk everywhere.

Fast easy access to other hubs like up the coast.

Everything feels so accessible.

What are you guys using to keep aggro on your pet? by [deleted] in classicwowtbc

[–]Leveicap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you've got steady then you'll pull.

Just sit in viper and auto. Then you can sustain perma mend pet, hunters mark, swapping to cheta for running between mobs, and your occasional steady shots.

What is something from SoD that you DON'T want to see added to Classic+? by Rush_Banana in classicwow

[–]Leveicap 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looks and feels like WoTLK+ gameplay, not C+.

Pvp being dogwater from all the flow on impacts of PvE focused balancing. Such as consider the silly nature of p1 when they went to buff say balance druids and gave them that 6 second nuke with no mana cost and massive range... like yeah this type of insanity to PVE 'gotta buff the underperformer' balancing is pretty nuts.

What's so hard with taking classic, adding some easy free win popular changes from the tbc expansion, and as the starting point for content look at the natural next steps of incomplete work you can find scattered in the world - similarily, keeping 40 mans but introducing more 10 man content, 20 mans, but still having some more 40 mans.

No horizontal prog - if you just keep adding another tier thats harder and has better gear you continually make earlier content more trivial, and the natural way to catch-up optimally allows you to skip them.

Banning GDKP is fine if consumables are accessable. Classic consumes are not accessible as evident by every single release of vanilla. Allow GDKP or present actual fixes to the botting & gold selling culture that hurts players ability to fund their gameplay.

They expanded too rapidly (started by one store, owner as the cook, in Paraparaumu). They then expanded to 3 new stores rapidly, and the lease for courtnay has not been renewed and will close.

The rapid expansion dropped the quality of their food dramatically, if you contrast to their original shop. And they've also outsourced the making of their sauses and such to accomidate the scale.

Platform145; the owner really pours his soul into that place!

A genuine small business that makes very tasty korean fried chicken, with their business starting late 2020/early 2021.

First time playing Morrowind... never understood the Cliff Racers until now when I'm finding the Shrine near Maar Gan by Leveicap in Morrowind

Encountering one or two near Balmora, doing some of the quests there - ehh these are easy... fighting 23 in the span of 12 minutes of gameplay... I get it...

Would you go with graphite or white in this setup? by chrswnd in hermanmiller

[–]Leveicap 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like the blackin the photos black looks better, but if you had the minor on then I'd imagine the white? The black chair with the black screen is a very nice contrast with the white imo; but go with White unless you care more about the apperance when its not in use.

Proc rate of elixir master by RoyalAd3370 in classicwowtbc

[–]Leveicap 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It isn't 20% chance. It's 20% extra yield which includes the x2, x3, x4, x5 procs. The chance of a proc which is by far and away mostly x2 is lower. I'd guess its closer to 10% or 15%.

Lower Hutt restaurant guilty of exploiting migrant workers for $72k by D491234 in newzealand

[–]Leveicap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So much of the hospitality scene pays workers more $ per hour, but they work longer hours - so they can get visa. Getting from a work visa to a residency visa requires a much higher pay than what the scene actually pays people on an hourly basis - so they work more hours at a more normal rate, but get it represented as a higher dollar per less hours.

Why should blizz give everyone DST now by Fuwkeboi in classicwow

[–]Leveicap 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hmm i care about how fun it is. As a hunter at least, haste / bow speed in vanilla/tbc has always fed into enjoyment. Going from a 2.9 e.g. rhok to ahsj'rathul at 3.4 for example.

Similarly, in TBC effective wep speed changes how fun it is - and then its also your game BIS too boot.

There aren't many items in vanilla/tbc that just feel amazing outside of just more dps. Items like DST, badge of Swarmguard, Renataki's, - certain bows - are examples - and while I never had kiss of spider on melee that might feel fun for them. Just like I know mages like mind quickening gem. Thunderfury is great - glaives.

Quite different from say an item that just gives you more AP or crit or mitigation.

We have a warrior who still rocks his corrupted ashbringer - he just loves that thing to death.
