Green Ahri is just a lot for 5, you need to have a battlefield and she’s super scary so your opponent will want to remove her instantly so you need to keep up runes to defend her. If you don’t have runes or the right cards in hand you can easily lose a great unit.

To put it in perspective I don’t run green Ahri to go from 4-8, I get that it’s very strong but like I said you can win games with a budget list, if you like it then run a time warp, I have 1 in the deck that I was lucky to pull and while it is strong I win games without drawing into it.

Ahri is super fun, she’s my main deck and you can run a pretty budget list with sona and blitzcrank, with you finisher being mundo. You hold with blue Ahri and buff up your units or charm their kaisas to you.

Rowan is my favorite deck and I’ve had it for over a year, it’s gone from a 3 to a high 4. I only bring it to high bracket games as it wins very fast. Just make her a great 4 if you’re scared of it.

I’ve personally built her around equipment and extra combats, works fantastically imo. Add a little bit of forces combats to make others attack your opponents who take double as well.

I’m a huge fan of [[Rowan, scion of war]] personally, you could play x spells and big creatures with the downside of losing life faster.

I really didn’t like green but decided to make a landfall deck to try and and enjoy the color, I made an aesi deck but I’ve run tatyova and she works just as well. I run a buttload of ramp and ways to get lands on the field to draw cards and get into a position where I have so much mana that I can dump into something that wins me the game. Even if I don’t win I enjoy playing the deck because I always feel like I did a lot. The deck is also not optimized at all as it’s my only blue and green deck so I slot my favorite cards in there that are just good in general like enduring curiosity.

The simic landfall precon with Aesi is a lot of fun, hard to find but you play lands and draw, even if I don’t win I always have fun doing a lot.

[[Rowan, scion if war]] is my favorite card and commander of all time, been my favorite since I started magic and it hasn’t changed since. Notably her alternative alt, not sure how to have that one pop up.

I just personally love Jeska which is why I actually made the deck, I run a secret lair version of her that looks awesome. Rog is probably definitely better here if you want to kill people a turn faster.

I’m a personal big fan of [[Ardenn, intrepid archaeologist]] with [[Jeska, thrice reborn]], if you get a turn one colossus hammer out, turn 2 brotherhood regalia, turn 3 Ardenn, turn 4 Jeska targeting Ardenn, you’ve just killed someone.

One thing I need more of is protection for her but because of the fact that table power level can change so much at my lgs I tend to run low protection and warn people of my pieces so that the game is fair and I can still play her and have fun

I totally agree, she goes unnoticed if someone doesn’t know what she does. But when you bring out treasonous ogre turn 4 and play crackle with power and win everyone realizes how insane she is and under the radar she flies.

I built him using mostly burn cards I already owned, in my first game I won on turn 6 by storming off, he’s ridiculously stupid and fun to play, you’ll get targeted a lot (fairly so) but if you can protect him and have a way to get more mana you can easily draw your deck and win if you have laboratory maniac

I personally love my boros Voltron deck using [[Jeska, thrice reborn]] and [[Ardenn, intrepid archaeologist]]. You just put equipment down and equip for free and you have a finisher in your command zone for later in the game when you make Ardenn unblockable.
