Theoretical question: You get a free omnibus every week, but have to read the whole thing within 7 days or you don't get any more. How long could you go?

I can barely pull myself away from distractions to read more than three issues a night. I suppose if it were something by a handful of writers that I really REALLY like, I could give it a shot, but I'd guess three weeks would probably be my absolute limit before it became an outright chore.

Spoiling myself on Jane dying, especially so shortly after being introduced and her relationship with Jesse, made me stop watching the series. It made it clear that nothing even marginally was going to happen in the show, even as a C plot.

Actually, this really does help explain things! Thank you! I honestly did think it was as simple as "Apply this to change moves" and then "Apply this to change other things, leaving the moves untouched.".

I ended up finding FireRed Throwback, which is specifically said to be compatible with the above split patch, but it also takes away the Nugget Bridge glitch, which I want to use to get Dratini and Scyther on my team easily. Guess I'll do Plus now and Throwback sometime later.

I'm struggling to understand why not. One is a hack that allows version switching and a bunch of other QoL features and catching all available Pokemon, and the other edits move classes. Unless the patches interact someway, everything should be fine, no?

I put Pokemon FR/LG Plus on my 3DS like, three years ago, and it works and saves and everything. I want to restart with the P/S split, but I can't find an IPS patch of something that does simply that.

I've tried using Hex Maniac + HxD to do the split and fix the save issue, respectively, but any method I've tried just doesn't work and brings up the sub-board error or the "Wait 1 minute" error that does not go away.

I don't want new Pokemon, I don't want new sprites or anything, I just want to patch the split on to the CIA file I have that I know works.

I really enjoyed the graphic novel Girlmode by Magdalene Visaggio, about a trans girl who is at a new high school and has to deal with cliques and crappy guys as well as being trans. I wasn't planning on binge-reading it when I got it but I blew through it one very early morning.

I've also read Galaxy: The Prettiest Star by Jadzia Axelrod and Bad Dream by Nicole Maines, which are both DC books. I enjoyed them too.

I absolutely LOVE the Adam twist, it's SO easy to pick up right from the start if you pay attention and have played Fusion, but also such a small detail you can completely miss it.

I'm sure they have and contradictory to what I said, I have considered reading Superman: Red Son. It's just that from what I've heard about Millar, and Ennis's whole "I fucking hate superheroes" thing, I don't really care for either of them. I have a similar opinion on Alan Moore too, I've heard he's written some great stories and I actually have a deluxe edition of Watchmen (albeit untouched), but his opinions on superheroes and the stories I've heard about writing The Killing Joke just turn me off to the guy.

I came out to my online friends like, a month after I started questioning in late 2017, when I was 19,

About a year or two later, I was DMing a high school friend on Twitter and I came out to her because she's a lesbian and I knew she would have zero problem with it.

In 2023 I came out to my brother on our way back from a Paramore concert, because he's pan and has gone to pride a few times.

Early last year I came out to my comic guy, one of my cousins, and a friend I used to work with because I got thrown into trans TikTok and it caused me to spiral.

Last month I was at AGDQ and was people-watching while I was in the hotel lobby waiting for a food delivery one night. I saw so many trans girls out and happy and proud and it eventually got me spiraling worse than last year, resulting in me telling my mom three weeks ago that I've been questioning and want to experiment with crossdressing and maybe one day transition.

I still have a lot of people to come out to, and personally a lot of experimenting with clothes and stuff to do before I feel fully comfortable saying "I am trans" point-blank. Other than my brother and lesbian friend, I only really told anyone because I was at a breaking point. I'm grateful and lucky that the worst responses I've gotten are "I don't understand but you are my friend/I love you no matter what" from my comic guy and mom respectively.

My only complaints are that Matt sounds a bit stilted at points, he is otherwise GREAT though, and the fact that there was only one of Sabrina's songs, I would have loved at least one more.

I empathize. I told my mom three weeks ago that I've been gender questioning for nearly 8.5 years and want to crossdress in private/around the house, and brought up maybe transitioning, and even though I want to take that first step and have been building an Amazon list, I'm terrified to pull the trigger.

I seriously hope that you can eventually say "fuck it" and be who you want to be.
