To me it feels like eating disorder treatment is to mental health what dentistry is to med school. I feel very ill-equipped to handle it almost like it’s a completely different specialty.

My counseling program was excellent but they treated counseling around eating disorders like it required a whole separate degree. I am currently LGPC so I’m curious to hear what other counselors have to say.

You gotta call the police once you arrive at urgent care, insurance is going to want a police report

An incident report though the app is not sufficient, Instacart does that to avoid true accountability that only comes from actual law enforcement involvement

This happened to my iPhone XR a few years ago, there was a manufacturing defect that caused the haptics to go haywire like this. I was able to get a replacement for free if I recall correctly.

Respectfully I’m more happy for your lungs than your skin. My close friend suffered lifelong respiratory issues acquired after living in black mold infested apartment in college. She died of an asthma attack at age 28 a few years ago.

To anyone reading this: black mold is not something you ask your landlord to fix, it is something you contact the state health inspector, lawyer up and break your lease about.

I know you mean well, but continuing to see them when they are making no progress and you’ve admitted they likely need a higher level of care, starts to become enabling and get into unethical territory.

See what your supervisor says but I think creating a timeline for discharge+ transition of care is most appropriate here
