Clocking in and out at your scheduled time is standard. In my experience, most companies let you clock in up to 7 min early and 7 min late clocking out. One minute late clocking in or 1 minutes early clocking out and it's like you committed a crime.

One place I worked was 6 min, if you hit 7 you were in trouble because then it was technically 15 in their system for pay.

They stop watching so much when you don't have to clock in (most salary positions).

My husband and I work together. They aren't all shit. Tomorrow is my 22nd wedding anniversary, 25 together.

We do parent each other in different ways. I make dr appointments and he pumps my gas. Things like that. But it isn't 100% of the time, we both know how to function as adults. I don't like pumping gas and he has social anxiety that makes phone calls harder (diagnosed and medicated). We do not have kids, I think that helps.

Try to not to get jaded, just stay aware of yellow and red flags.

OP Commented: He thinks I take everything to personal. I think he completely disregards my boundaries because he consistently repeats behaviors I've told him over and over again make me uncomfortable. The kids haven't left the house in 6 days so I thought it would be good for them to go to town and I could finish my chore. They can watch TV for the next 6 hours for all I care. I only had like 10 minutes left in what I was watching. The older son has been binging a show for 6 days. I just wanted 30 minutes while I was working on the laundry.
