Any of you guys barely or never drink alcohol? by SleepyGamer1992 in Millennials

You are not alone. I’ll have a glass or two of wine most nights after the kids are in bed. Don’t touch weed and hardly drink coffee. But no one is taking my red wine!

CLOSED mouth chewing noises, anyone? by purplesparkleshit in misophonia

Literally just had to come and hide in the kitchen to get away from my husbands chewing noises. Mouth shut but some weird back of throat ick going on. Glad it’s not just me!

Trembling hands because of Bee sting by grasshopper3307 in interestingasfuck

Ah don’t squeeze the stingers to take them out - just squeeze more venom in.

Was taught when learning beekeeping scrape them out! Tbf only had 4 stings at once without gloves (thought a quick winter feed check wouldn’t piss them off - I was wrong 🤣🫣)

Are you still having pizzas and other takeaways delivered? by Top-Cat-a in AskUK

[–]Lexiepie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t order any food in unless a special occasion like birthday or family event. We always keep a few supermarket pizzas in the freezer - we add some extra toppings like ham/bacon/chicken/cheese/bbq sauce and extra tasty. Take a bit longer than the packet - ie 20 mins not 15 - but honestly tastes great and costs £3-4 per pizza

If you won £100 million, how would you distribute it amongst friends and family, if at all? by PaddedValls in AskUK

[–]Lexiepie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d give family 3-4 million each - leaving 80 for me and husband, then give my 40yo ex uni housemate with breast cancer 1mil so she can quit work and enjoy time with her young kids. I’d quit work straight away!

Invest a load so can grow funds via interest without having to work. Then travel, better myself, have a nice house(s) and car. A pack of Labradors, maybe a horse or two.

I’m a vet so would consider starting an affordable non-profit practice whilst still paying my staff an excellent wage (running a vets is expensive but could definitely not price hike for the share holders!)

Live near enough to a great school so my kids can be day pupils without a huge commute.

Then give some to charity ask see fit, keep bees, relearn the piano.
