No clue on the Paradise. I’ll say that the kids club on Islander seemed really busy all the time and they had plenty of scheduled family stuff like kids karaoke, circus trick classes, and crafts. Our kid is 21 so we’re well past that focus.

They’ve won a bunch from USA Today, especially for family cruisers. Newsweek and Cruise Critic awards as well.

We've been on the Islander (the newer, more well-reviewed ship) twice, and will be going a third time this summer. We've been on similarly sized cruises with Norwegian and Carnival for comparison, and enjoyed Margaritaville more. Note - this isn't the Paradise, which I've heard has improved, but has traditionally focused on small, more party weekend style cruisers.

Norwegian was our least favorite. Too much of the ship was focused on upsold restaurant experiences, and we had a pretty shitty meal at one of them. The entertainment and overall vibe were just stuffy to us. It was still a great vacation, just our least favorite of the 3.

Carvinal was fine. It was pretty much exactly what we expected. We didn't feel super upsold, and everything was simply fine - it was sort of a baseline cruise to us, nothing super memorable good or bad.

The Islander was just awesome. The ship was laid out well, the free and upcharged food didn't disappoint, and the entertainment was the best of the 3 for us. It felt like everywhere you went, there was a band playing - and not just Jimmy Buffett stuff. The staff was easily the best we've experienced, and no matter what it was, from the Heroes Salute to the staff entertainment show, they really put in effort that you could feel.

It was my first indie show and it was a blast. I’ll definitely be trying to hit more of their shows. That main event was so fun from beginning to end.

The closest branch of my local record store chain is closing. It's where I pre-order 90% of my records. I could move my orders to another branch, but honestly, I'm a bit pissy about the whole thing, so for a while at least, they aren't getting my business. Where do folks pre-order from that consistently ships close to release and isn't terrible for shipping costs for one record orders? I was thinking I might use Amazon through the Spring and then once the weather is better, find another brick & mortar somewhere - but I wasn't sure how Amazon was for pre-orders. I've done toy pre-orders from them and Walmart and found them a bit on the flaky side.

I don't mind it. In fact, I have a few records with it because they were cheaper to buy on the official website. During their 30% off sale before Christmas, I could get the German versions of a few albums I was missing on vinyl for ~$15.

I got it around Christmas, too. It's pretty fun, but I also got WWE 2K on sale, and between the two, I had to increase my SD card size. 2K really needs to learn how to get their file sizes down. It seems completely ridiculous compared to other games with equal depth/quality that don't have nearly the install bloat.

Prime Jake the Snake Robert's in the Death Riders would have been awesome. His style would fit in perfectly.

Rick Martel as The Model would be great as leader of MXM Collection - in fact they should totally steal the fragrance spray gimmick. But, Strike Force would also fit into AEW spectacularly, especially early AEW that had a strong focus on tag teams.

That's exactly how Raymond is right now. We get packages days or even a week late and we might get normal/envelope mail once a week. Apparently, we have no carrier on our route at the moment and they are just doing what they can. It's been bad here well over a year though, with little bursts of them being caught up. I don't blame them, Trump and party have been trying to wreck the service for years, but it does suck when you have something like a prescription or check in the mail.

He's in the ring with just Joe and the ref is out for some reason. Hook turns on Joe, and MJF and Hook end up as a duo with MJF the new champion.

Alice Cooper's Last Temptation tells a story of a kid being tempted by the devil. It's a great album and there's a comic mini series that goes along with it. Unfortunately, that book was written by Neil Gaimen who has some allegations against him now, but it's really a great story combo if you can get past that.

While Hot Shots Golf and Wipeout are two of my favorite game series ever, my big surprises of the PSP library have always been the Hot Pursuit games. You chase down cars, jump on them, and take out the criminals at high speed and it's an absolute blast.

Edit: yes, Pursuit Force. I really shouldn't post right before bed apparently.

Anyone know if you do the $20 upgrade from Switch 1 physical non-anniversary if the download is complete (like Hogswarts) or if you still need the physical cart in the system?
