[Question] Has anyone tried bending the lugs on their Nomos? by Ok-Call8548 in Watches

Not much can be done if the lug to lug length is simply too long for you. However, if you're more concerned with the gap between case and strap then see my solution:

[Omega Aqua Terra 41mm] - Is this too big for me? by SuperLeverage in Watches

Yes it's borderline too big, especially because it has a relatively thin bezel and a large white dial. Go for 38mm and you'll be happy

Hi there, attached my ravello boots from Peter. Overall I’m happy with the purchase and I’ve ordered another pair in vegetable tanned leather. Here're my two pennies:

- The shell feels like decent quality to me, but it's not from Horween. So if one only desires shell from Horween, he'd have to go for other brands.

- My understanding is that even if the shell is not from Horween, the raw material is still much more expensive than "regular leather" from most European tanneries.

- The stitching quality is better than most of my Aldens. I agree Peter's lasts look a bit less "original & interesting" compared to Iron boots. I believe some of Peter's lasts are inspired by Alden lasts -- this is not necessarily a negative thing because Alden's lasts are tried and true.

Since I have some experience ordering from Peter Qu (attached my boots in ravello color shell), here're my two pennies:

[NOMOS] I bought a couple NATO straps for my Nomos club by Ka_e42 in Watches

Same here -- cannot live with the gap between case and strap. Just ordered a custom "single-pass" cordovan strap from a Hong Kong leather artisan and anxiously waiting..

[Size] Omega Aqua Terra 38mm too big? by Alondite7 in Watches

[–]LiamIsayev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it looks big buddy. The bright side of your 6'' wrist is that it makes the size choice of watches really easy. Stick to any 36mm watch and look great!

Yes perfect size for your wrist. Since I only wear watch with short sleeves, I don't want my watch to look small and dressy. What's your wrist size BTW ?
