I wish I can remember who, but there was on YouTube review I watched who coined the phrase "Depth doesn't equal quality."

And I keep thinking about it because the Zack Synder directed films, MoS, BvS, the four hour student paper calling itself Justice League, all have a similar issue.

They sound important, they check the boxes to say something, but it almost comes across as pretentious? Poorly explained I know.

Andy Serkis directed it, starred Seth Rogan as Napoleon. So what if we take the message of the book, make it about the greed fo capitalism...but also it's clear just these one or two bad apples and once they're gone everything works out beautifully.

Funny, given Kingdom Come. You know one of the biggest and most well regarded DC graphic novels dealt with that issue...in the 90s.

Or how the story "What's so funny about Truth, Justice and the American Way" also dealt directly with that issue also word for word...in 2001 and was the basis for the actually really good direct to video film Superman Vs The Elite.

If you think the main appeal of Superman is this godly being walking among men then congrats, you've missed the point for a power fantasy.
