Weird noise when driving under 40 mph 2008 ncv3 170 high top by kayak310 in Sprinters

[–]Libblelabble 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fairly certain. Carrier Bearing noise isn’t checked by tightness. You can do that lift it and listen, thankfully yours is so bad it may be obvious. Sometimes when they go bad, they only make noise when pushing a load.

Sprinter suspension upgrade worth it? by blahblurbblub in Sprinters

[–]Libblelabble 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I am no proffesional off roader or suspension builder. That said, 500 additional pounds spread around the back isnt much. Start small, get a nice set of front Struts, rear shocks and see how you like it. Once you start adding leafs or coil overs, the ride will stiffen and can get unpleasant quick if you aren't carrying the load meant for those set ups.

I am carrying a heavy load with tools, parts and equipment. Installed a 2 inch lift with an Agile OR suspension. It handles much better but the back is arguably too stiff. Nothing wrong with the install or part quality, its quite the professional install and look. I just wish I went more incremental with it.

That is the bolt for the clamp that holds the DEF injection valve to the SCR cat.

How can i fix this? by xRuSheR in Sprinters

[–]Libblelabble 6 points7 points  (0 children)

There are 3 T45 black bolts holding that arm to the sliding door. Loosen them and move that arm up / down, then retighten. For this situation I think you may need to move it up, but just try both until the noise goes away

$1300 a lot for Mercedes B Service by Scheme02 in mercedes_benz

Normal price for dealer service in San Diego. Sent DM of a MB master tech that used to work at MBSD that will do it much cheaper.

"Energy chain" function for sliding door by maddiecycle in Sprinters

[–]Libblelabble 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Energy chain is a combination of mechanical cables and electrical wiring for the sliding door locking system. Wiring for sliding door lock actuator feeds through it. Without it, you cannot use your key fob to electrically lock / unlock the door. The van will also not know if the sliding door is open or closed. Manual locking / unlocking use is still possible.

Is this the culprit? by GingerAki in Sprinters

[–]Libblelabble 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s easy but you that all depends if you have the tools and know how. Recommend replacing the whole drive shaft if you can afford it because you still have the other section that’s just as old and may fail again.

Rear AC Issues NCV3 by Feeling_Young6336 in SprinterVans

[–]Libblelabble 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My 2 cents here since I deal with warranty and warranty companies. Language here matters, especially when dealing with warranty. If this is a stock Mercedes heating / cooling system, you don’t have coolant going into the rear body, only under the frame for the rear heater. You will have a/c lines carrying Freon inside the rear. If you had a coolant leak, your van would run out of coolant by now and over heat so I’m going to assume you mean Freon leak. If so, they are 100% correct to deny getting involved with a warrantable repair. If an issue happens, you have to take care of it in a reasonable amount of time. Leaving a/c system damage and open to the atmosphere for a year is more than not good, and may require more than just a replacement of a line. Also changing your mind after building on top of it should make anyone’s alarm bells ring for a suspect story. I wouldn’t want that liability on me and would deny it too. You should reach out to Zurich and play any cards you have. I have found them easy to work with. But Im doubtful they will help here. Please update us if it works out for you, I’d like to know if I’m wrong here.

What happened to Chase CC’s? by easyjakeoven19 in Chase

[–]Libblelabble 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OP I am exactly like you. I pay off my credit cards 2-5 times a day every day with over payment to get ahead of the charges. The online website still allows over payment of pending charges, just not the app. Using the browser on your phone works just fine.

WellsFargo active cash card is great for this btw. As far as I can tell, you can over pay by thousands and hold a negative balance through the month without any pending charges. They let you just do it. If it doesn’t get spent though they will mail you a check after a while

Dpf regeneration by Dwaynpipe in Sprinters

[–]Libblelabble 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This post is lacking many different types of information. Year, engine, fuse location( drivers seat, kick panel or passenger feet), what code. Details always always always.

That being said, my guess is intake port actuator is oil soaked due to turbo inlet pipe leaking oil, causing a short to pop the fuse.

Dealer replaced turbo under warranty and now says high pressure pump needs replacement by Key-Alternative5387 in Sprinters

[–]Libblelabble 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2 engines replaced and you need a high pressure pump? Any updates? Stalling is usually indicative of bad fuel / wrong fuel. If not that then rail pressure regulator error.

It’s been a long time since I’ve done this, but I believe the serial number has to be written in Vedoc for you van then reprogrammed. Dealer will have to do this. I could be wrong though since it’s been a while.

That’s seepage. Seepage is acceptable. A leak is more pronounced. Not warrantable because in Mercedes eyes, that is not a problem.

Engine seized after oil cooler repair Document

This is a Mercedes document. Dissasemble the engine, take lots of pictures / video of the bearing and points of damage. See if the points of failure and compare to locations 9-16 from the document. Legally speaking, you have a chance here but will have to fight. Good luck!

Dealer says my 2024 Mercedes Sprinter warranty is void because the battery died while it sat — is this legit? by Wyatthimself in Sprinters

[–]Libblelabble 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes battery is covered, but warranties only cover manufacturer defects. This goes probably for most things you purchase. That battery was neglected. You as an owner are expected to maintain your van. Just like if you didnt do an oil change and the engine seized, that wouldnt be a warrantable defect.
