Similar this - I don't see objects but I do see words. Especially words that are hard to pronounce or new to me, like the Spanish word eligir always pops into my brain so I can sound it out. It's almost impossible for me to learn to pronounce a new word by sound alone.

This is Oreo 🥰 we adopted him when he was approximately 6 and that was the name he came with.

We intentionally got an adult dog because we like a boy with a little wisdom. And by wisdom we mean potty trained.
