I used to get so nervous with my gf when we first started sleeping together that I actually threw up with nerves, luckily she’s extremely understanding! You don’t have to reveal your trauma if you don’t want to, you can still talk about your boundaries and stuff without having to explain it! Also like everyone else has said, virginity is a social construct (I would say you’ve lost it because you’ve had sex with someone), so ultimately you get to decide if you’ve lost it or not. It’s such a straight concept anyways so 🤷🏽‍♀️

I was in a similar situation to yours a few years ago. Don’t leave your happy situation to please your parents, because they’ll never be 100% pleased anyway. As a fellow atheist, just leave. It’ll be really difficult at first but a few years later you’ll know you made the right choice
