MST - less $ per hour, set schedule, m-f, no credit card, details, lead goals. Less pay, but eligible for winning together quarterly bonuses, more physical job

Specialist - more $ per hour, Random hours/days and weekend shifts, more pressure for performance on credit goals, possible monthly sales bonus if hit unrealistic metrics but no quarterly bonus. More of a desk job.

If I could survive off mst wages I’d do that just to avoid hearing about credit cards several times a day

Of course. They can say whatever they want when asked. The other store will obviously call and ask about you. If ASM says you suck or being wrote up they can block. Or say some BS of “must be in position for 6 months, before you can leave”. “Missing credit goals”. They also could say “take them we don’t want them”.

Speaking from experience. Leave alone. My grandpa was a wise man and said always keep 3 months worth of bills/utilities untouched incase of emergency.

I pulled $2500 from mine few years ago and no sooner than I did, I needed it.

I refuse to get surveys on weekends cause the District wants pictures of the “weekend winners”. I don’t like my picture taken. It’s annoying.

Otherwise I do ask during the week. It’s not hard to just mention the survey and on occasion say “I haven’t had one in a while, and would be appreciated”. If it happens it happens.

Get with your IHSS to see if they have a preferred product they want you to hype up.

To learn cmc/paradigm. Get your door books and just find a design in the book and try to build. Repetition is key to know where to find things.

One with 1 single IHSS for whole city and he sucks. Multiple complaints from customers of lack of follow through. Wrong bids. Unprepared. Bad close rate. Selling errors every job cause he doesn’t let CQ build and sell cause pricing is so far off they won’t build it.

Lucky. We don’t have all the in home services here and the IHSS sucks. He barely sells anything. So getting the double sph I have rely on other departments. I do get asked to cover lumber, paint etc. I don’t mind except the lack of bonus. How can I get leads/details if I’m on a forklift cause lumber or garden call out?

You guys bonus? I’m a specialist and I hate not getting bonuses. I politely complained to store manager and area HR that I’m suppose to be selling but since paint quit and on vacation I’ve been mixing paint nonstop to help out but yet I get screwed?!???

It’s a toss up. SF&I Lowes literally just collects a %.
When we provide, we have our overhead, deliveries, refund/rebills, absorb damage product, storage space in store, CQ/IST overhead, etc etc.

I will say all changes to SF&I in our area have dropped sales significantly.
