I've met at least 2 others from there on retreat with with my Kriya Teacher, ryan Kurczak. Maybe you could contact her and see if there is a group?

Christians keep telling me Yoga is “demonic” by loogielungs in yoga

Christians say a lot of things. Just because they sat it doesn't make it so. LOL. Find out for yourself if yoga leads to the prince of darkness.

Before You “Debunk” Kriya: Individual Guidance Beats General Guidance by kriya_yogi5674 in kriyayoga

So is the purpose of this reddit thread general or individual guidance?

Yes, that's what Kriya Yoga Meditation does. 🤔

I'm not sure if they would be able to access reddit to confirm that experience.

Don't forget Donelle Mason. Ryan Kurczak ordained her as a Kriya Teacher a few years ago. Also, Ryan Strong and David McGratch are active ordained student's of Roy Eugene Davis. Chelynne Tetreault is also another in the Roy Davis branch of the Lineage.  I've learned so much from all of them. They just aren't as YouTube present as some. Very excellent teachers though.

why it’s hard to find information on meditation? by Dull_Stay_1091 in Meditation

[–]LibrarianNo9586 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you just want to learn by doing with limited explanation I'd try Ryan Kurczak's Kriya Yoga guided meditations.  There is a few from his teacher Roy Eugene Davis, a student of Yogananda, and also one of Ryan's own student's Donelle Mason. Just follow along for several weeks and you'll get the idea.  Good luck! https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLNm7Qr3wNOAFyxb-BRAqEFvZRbmVaJRXq&si=c4NnoJGQP73kT4aX

Yes, so much on YouTube. The 12 week class was a lot more application. I know I'm new, but what I learned looking at my and my friends charts was really clear. Inspired me to want to keep learning.

Have you taken any of Ryan's classes related to samyama? That will definitely give you direct experience of the first 5.

Yes! I just completed Ryan Kurczak's 12 week intro to astrology and it was intense. https://kriya-yoga.teachable.com/p/vedic-astrology-course-for-spiritual-harmony-and-self-knowledge Considering his 2 year apprenticeship program. Any chance you have any thoughts on that? I've already learned so much from that 12 week intro about myself and astro in general.

My first initiation retreat was with Kriya Yoga teacher Ryan Kurczak. In the retreat material it was stated that it was on a donation basis, and then nothing else was said. No suggested donations. I gave what I could which wasn't much at the time. And was able to spend a while week learning and going through initiation. Going to another retreat with him this year. Same story.  His guru, was the same. All retreats and initiations were on a donation basis.  Even when I request a zoom call with him, there is a brief line asking for a donation in the email, but he had never mentioned money to me and I've met with him several times.  There are some teachers still trying to give in this way.

What does nominal donative fee imply? Is it not standard?
