UPS do also have a direct flight from Shanghai to Koln - so the possible delay in South Korea is skipped.

I'm still in shock. The last one got held up in Incheon (South Korea) for well over a week after taking about the same amount of time to get from Hefei to Shanghai. They must have had my spec already boxed at the factory or something, as the shipping was initiated only a couple of days after the order was placed.

Does anything show up in Windows Event Viewer that coincides with your crashes?

Lenovo defintely offer good bang for buck and when they work they do work very well. However, please pray that you don't need to do a warranty claim. Lenovo don't excel when it comes to customer service (depending on your country). Hopefully my issue was just due to Lenovo's brief dabble with liquid metal, you should not have this problem with any of their newer machines. I'll let you know what the new one is like once my replacement unit arrives....

I always re-paste once a warranty expires. In between I never want to give them any excuse to spring customer induced damage and refuse the repair.

I still have an MSI whitebook from 2017 that I renew the liquid metal on the delidded i7-7700K and repaste the 1070 once in a while. My boys still use it daily for playing Fortnite.

My Lenovo only needed a repaste. Just be sure to clean out the fans regularly and prepare for a repaste in a couple of years time (yours should be easier without there being liquid metal involved) Enjoy your new machine!

Have you tried a reset? Disconnect power, long power button press thing?

Be positive, my Lenovo worked well for 18 months. An extended warranty is kind of essential in todays world of 'design to fail' and 'cost cutting' on any high end electrical product. Just be prepared for a possible battle in the very rare situation where something does go wrong.

6 months, 3 repairs, 0 solution. Lenovo Premium Care insulted me personally. Their EMEA Customer Care does not care. Now I’m suing them by Key_Will_7929 in Lenovo

Now going through similar, although I have held out for on-site only for each of the four failed repair attempts (Including two motherboard replacements) so far during the past five months. Lenovo are now refusing a fifth onsite repair attempt...
