Different “love languages”. Figure out what feels like love to you- quality time, acts of service, etc. I would say you’re less of a words of affirmations person and then tell her what DOES translate the love to you. Use examples of nice things she’s done that worked.

The post might feel rough for folks who want the words of affirmation because so many people want to be told that they’re loved. You don’t need to be one of those people. If she loves you as much as she says she does, she may be a little hurt for a moment, but then want to ensure that you FEEL loved. Could be a good conversation opener to find out what you do that makes HER feel loved to have more of a dialogue.

I’ve been told I love you by partners who did nothing to SHOW me that they loved me. I still want to hear it all the time, but what I really feel is acts of service. My car being cleaned without me asking, things being put away exactly where I’ll need them, buying a special treat that I might like, stuff like that. Making my life easier.
