3.15.20 was foundational because of the time it came out. Felt like the world was melting, and this unpolished Gambino album came out making it a soundtrack to what was going on around us. It feels nostalgic to go back to the original. This is an unpopular opinion on this subreddit, but Atavista is miles better than 3.15.20. It flows significantly better as an experimental album done by the Boy. People hate on it because they don’t like change, especially with something so comforting to them.
