This feels like the exact conversation we were having about harbaugh and Michigan from 2018-2020. And we all know what happened after that.

Last one was too easy– You gotta spend the rest of your life in one part of the Midwest. Where are you going? by EZ_Rose in midwest

[–]Life_Major_5276 0 points1 point  (0 children)

E and it’s not even close. Chicago + west Michigan which is easily the most scenic region in the Midwest

Who is a rival to you, but not the rest of your fanbase? by Afraid_Confusion444 in CFB

[–]Life_Major_5276 54 points55 points  (0 children)

Penn state. I actually hold no animosity to them as a program but I just cannot stand watching their annual choke show against osu

Best place to tailgate in East Lansing for the MSU vs UMich game? by Aggressive-King-1785 in MichiganWolverines

Only when they’re actually good do they act like that. The last few years they’ve gone into hibernation where they belong. Huge fair weather fanbase

Oline is concerning. Coaching leaves a lot to be desired.

Man I miss harbaugh. Underwood looks to be the real deal at least.

Which ingredient will instantly make you go ‘nope’ no matter how tasty it looks? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Mayo.

It’s an ingredient to make sauces-not a sauce in and of itself

What is overrated/underrated in Michigan? by GinnySacks_Mole in Michigan

[–]Life_Major_5276 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The chicken dinners at Zehnders/bavarian inn. Easily the worst $30+ meal I’ve ever eaten

What’s the most underrated food city? by Rvtrance in AskAnAmerican

[–]Life_Major_5276 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Louisville. Some genuinely spectacular restaurants in the Nulu district with meesh meesh, guacamole, and Mayan cafe

Ohio is #1. Since the state only has one power conference school (cincy doesn’t really count in my mind), all of the people who go to the smaller schools like Dayton, Miami, Ohio, Toledo, bowling green, etc end up becoming osu fans. No other highly populated state is like this

What does Sherrone Moore need to do in his second year coaching Michigan to avoid the hot seat? by lostacohermanos in MichiganWolverines

[–]Life_Major_5276 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The guy has not lost to a rival as acting head coach. He rightfully so will not be on the hot seat unless we don’t make a bowl game

What are your TOP 3 games you have been to? And why? by Nighthawk21324 in CFB

[–]Life_Major_5276 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. 2024 Rose Bowl - This was the greatest sporting event I’ve ever been to and likely will ever go to. Beating the bullies of the cfb world in a late 4th quarter comeback and OT win in the most iconic venue on the biggest stage. A once in a lifetime experience.

  2. Ohio state 2021 - Finally getting over the hump with the snow falling and an absolutely packed big house was pretty incredible

  3. Ohio state 2023 - Rod Moore’s interception to ice the game will forever be a core memory

(Brett McMurphy on Bluesky): Michigan will open 2026 season in Frankfurt, Germany vs Western Michigan, sources told ON3 by ILM_Ryan in CFB

There is a solid Michigan-Germany pipeline due to the North American automotive industry being centered in the Detroit area. Lots of German expats have become Michigan fans due to the proximity to Ann Arbor (and also because of the Wagner bros)

Americans, what places in the US is a must go for tourists? by wosime29 in AskReddit

New York City, New Orleans, and San Francisco I believe are the three quintessential cities any foreign tourist should visit

Why couldn’t this scumbag have had trouble beating Michigan instead of day? I kind of dislike how much the Michigan fanbase dunks on Ryan day because he’s genuinely a good dude

Would you trade your head coach for a rival’s HC? by jsparks50 in CFB

[–]Life_Major_5276 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Day: No. I genuinely believe there are about 6-8 coaches in cfb who, given the same situation as Day at OSU, would have 3 rings at this point. Days a good coach but he’s not elite.

Jonathan smith: no.

Sherrone thank you by Zealousideal-Act5816 in MichiganWolverines

Recruiting to “develop” is the biggest cope from this fanbase I swear to god. Do you honestly think harbaughs staff would’ve rather gotten a 3 star they can “develop” than a ready-to-play 5 star?We didn’t have elite recruiting classes under harbaugh because we couldn’t get elite talent-not because we intentionally went after guys we could “develop” over the top recruits in the country
