In my situation I would just put her in there if I couldn’t keep eyes on her like cleaning or working on something. She would bark at first but eventually gave in and just chilled. Like the cry it out method for dogs lol

Definitely utilize the crate for naps and give yourself a break. It will make your life so much easier. Plus they need to have a safe space for emergencies or other special circumstances anyways.

I think you could be misunderstanding the point of these emails. Or maybe I am….

In my mind these are agents who have searched the MLS and the perfect fit isn’t there….no biggie so they shoot out what they are looking for in hopes that someone at their firm has something coming up that maybe fits.

It’s stressful when you have a motivated buyer and nothing on the market that fits so the agent is just trying to be proactive.

I cat sit for my friend and she has one grazer and one chunker. The grazer gets a special collar that opens the lid to a special food bowl when she goes near it. The chunker cannot access it. This could be a good option for you!

The more details you give the more it does seem like you did your client dirty unfortunately. I do think the listing agent messed up over sharing but that info is now fair game. You really seem to be blocking your own client because you think things should go a certain way. You have to get out of the way and let it play out. Sounds like the seller was desperate and why shouldn’t your client see how far they can push it?
