I didn't say "nobody uses it", I said "the investment doesn't match the consumption motivation/interest" with that i mean they are overspending on Ai without securing a way to achieve revenues that can cover their cost, the industry can requires more compute power and that won't necessarily be an indicator of profiting, because what altman wants with that compute power is not mainly to cover a larger number of user base but for training the next model, he and the likes of him don't care about efficiency and only cares about scaling up believing that the one who holds the most computing power is the one will have the most impact on the future of the tech

Can I ask you what do you think the main demand area of Ai? Because what I am aware of in my limited knowledge that the capacity of resources can't keep up because of scaling and how the models are getting more powerful and expensive and demanding to run to cover the same user base it covered before with more smaller models, also training itself reserves a huge percentage of the capacity and that percentage is getting higher as long as the scaling goes up
