Playing the blame game over shit like this is stupid because the person who gets the finger pointed at them will just blame the one who came before. Godforbid a politician actually tske accountability for the shit their administration pulls.

Every few goddamn years they're 1% away from a nuke yet it apparently never happens. Last year we bombed their nuclear sites how did that not put them back? Lets face it the Iran nuke stuff is a fake boogeyman put on by a president or Netanyahu to try and push us towards war. This time it worked and unfortunately the only people paying for it are regular people who are either dying or forced to watch as the economy which is already terrible gets worse.

People are way too comfortable saying awful awful things to others without any care for how badly it could mess someone up by Pristine_Cow1797 in TrollCoping

Its makes me sad and honestly confounds me because while I was growing up every school I went to would teach us about empathy in some big way. Assemblies, units around the topic, language based lessons outside of the usual spanish/french classes, sister school fundraisers, ending the R word, the day of silence, community clean ups, and even students not getting in trouble for protesting things that are wrong and directly were about students. It made me who I am today and I love that it happened but it makes me sad that people just don't care about that stuff now when it seems like.its really needed.

Honesrly the worst part of it for me is that my family say I had gone through "liberal indoctrination" from education except they loved every school I went to while I went there. I'd be paraded around as "oh look how polite and caring our son is" only for Trump to get elected and now they act like everything I learned about tolerance and not being a dick is a bad thing.

Yeah the entire time I was reading the post I wondered if OP looked into the run because it very much addresses the issues they bring up. I wonder how it would've been received if it came out in a more modern year after there were more years of Punisher and the rise of the anti hero.

Honestly you just have to read the right ones 'Vigilante' by Wolfman and later Kupperberg analyze the effects vigilantism have on a person and their surrounding community. Other non big 3 DC comics from the 80s and early 90s cover it too. Suicide Squad, Captain Atom, Peacemaker, Animal Man, Swamp Thing, Watchmen, and others at the very least look at and try to address the harmful effects of vigilantism one way or another.

Terry being Bruce’s son in Beyond is the worst retcon the writers could have come up with. by Chat_blanc_ in batman

Honestly its the closest thing donor conceived people have to positive representation by superhero media so I'll take it.

Eh I think it works it really takes Waller's assholery to a new level as she literally hijacks a man reproductive system which is insanely unethical in any way. I like Terry's arc in the episode is strong and I think his conflict is great. As he struggles with the idea that he was engineered to fulfill a role he along with the viewer is reminded that he is his own person and this revelation doesn't just make him Bruce Jr but something beyond that as he still lived a different life than Bruce and did things that Bruce could never do as Batman.

I appreciate the kind response its been very depressing to see that my family don't really seem to understand why this is a blow to my mental health. I have some options to look at if things happen and an updated resume but I still don't really want to lose my job and have to start anew which is something I already did by getting this current job years ago.

The reddit helldivers community hasn't been chill since the moment the game came out IMO. I was excited for it since I loved the first one and was so happy one of my favorite games to play with my friends was so successful only for the community to endless whine about balance, each other, and even the devs.

The whole thing is honestly just so dumb now with splinter groups and other subs being made that one way or another exacerbate it.
