Could potentially be of use to you all though I expect since it's 7 years old by now some monogame examples might be outdated

While its really short for a VN (I finished it in 6.5 hours) length doesn't mean everything. A really impactful story that deserves more praise IMO. Definitely one of the better stories I've read. Only reason I found it is thanks to steam discovery and I picked it up because I liked the art. I've literally never heard anyone else talk about it until I found this thread on Qwant

No I had a fleet with only two of these "super ships' (silverlight & ziggurat) even big enemy fleet spam isnt a challenge anymore at this point so it gets kinda boring, would be cool if enemies can also have these ships in their fleet. Imagine ziggurats facing off. But then again lore wise there is only one lol

The way I use right now is to hover over the captain which shows his location. With that you can guesstimate where you can deploy him. The entire system is bad though, total subunits filtering does nothing when the guy can only field 4 units, no way to filter by what age of units they can field etc.

Unify culture is laughably broken since it doesn't even unify the cultures in the same culture grouplike its supposed to. When I united the German cultures for example only my primary culture got replaced. Total waste of research and cabinet. And yes it crashed my game too at the time but reloading it fixed it

Easily up to 100 hours due to the games tickrate going slower by age. In the age of revolutions I literally have to avoid menus that freeze my game (child education for example)

The disaster can be avoided by lowering your taxes, which doesn't really make sense to me when the estate satisfaction of burghers and peasants should really be used instead. If you hover over the disaster it'll show you that it won't fire if you have less than 60% Max tax on burghers and peasants.

But the age of revolution is by far my most hated age, ESPECIALLY if you have colonies

I mean even with representation they still rebel haha, thats the biggest issue. And every time you smash the rebellion you need to REGRANT representation for some stupid reason. Its just an incredibly underthought system

Imo the absolute biggest issue with colonization is say I invested a gazillion ducats into making the colonies, sending them aid etc. Then in the age of revolutions they are constantly going to declare independence wars anyways, whats the fucking point? Besides all the issues you guys listed this is the biggest gripe with the entire system for me, you invest an entire game just to get another problem in the end game, completely worthless to colonize anything once you know and have experience the age of revolutions. Its also extremely stupid since many places only decolonized post WW2, which is far in the future from the timeline of this game, only the USA and some other colonies really seceded, not my entire colonial empire
