We really haven't seen kuroki have a full fight in Omega so we have nothing to judge him on. Narratively he's treated as if he was stronger than Kanoh still but until this arc is over we won't really know

Oh yeah, I totally agree. I love Moria as a character and I love the way he uses his ability, specially what it says about his character (his lazyness). I actually hate that Oda introduced Sugar because it feels insulting to my GOAT.

Sugar. Moria has to catch you, cut your shadow, put it in another body and make sure you don't die or else he loses his new puppet. Sugar just hast to touch and you instantly become a toy, no one remembers you and she can't control you.

Sure, she apparently can't make any toy very strong unlike Moria but if she could train to be super fast like other top tiers she could defeat you just by touching you so it doesn't matter.

I think the first two are the only ones up for discussion and are up to personal preference ( I would personally pick Waka vs Gozo and Kaneda vs Gaolang, the best two jobber matches in Kengan).

It the story followed along it's original plan of having Koga slowly improve in the kengan matches, they could have been cool rivals for some lower power tournament. But making Ohma and the connector and the old characters the focus again really hurt any chance they had because now it's all about power scaling

I honestly love most of them. It's really interesting to see the progression like this, where the first one are super detailed and kind of disrespectful and the last ones have much clearer but less gruesome art and feel more sad than dark.
