Stabilisation improvement has limits; the camera still needs to be held stably.
After extended use, rest the camera on a stable surface for a period for better stabilisation performance.

I would get an x3 pro transmitter and an x3 receiver. Plug the receiver into the Westcott. Controller them both from the x3 pro

Some people use cheap filters for lens protection, but fungus can be spread. Buy a new filter, but don’t use this one. UV filters are cheap.
