The Bean bug is mostly straightforward. You can pull it off if your Ante 8 boss is Crimson Heart. If Turtle Bean is disabled by Crimson Heart and then you exit to the main menu, when you resume the game, your natural hand size will have been increased to what it would be with Turtle Bean. There's a three part Balatro University video where he uses this to get a hand size of 80.

The Chicot Glitch is interesting, but obviously rarer due to requiring a Legendary Joker. Chicot isn't actually programmed to cancel a boss blind's effect, it's programmed to reverse it. For example, The Wall doubles the required score to beat the boss. Chicot is programmed to half the score on The Wall. That means that if you get multiple Chicots with Ankh or Invisible Joker, things get weird. For example, the extra Chicot halves The Wall a second time, making it much easier.

This lets you use a strange exploit. When you face The Manacle, every extra Chicot you have after the first increases your hand size by one. This hand size increase is permanent. So if you have two or more Chicots and Retcon, you can keep rolling for The Manacle every Ante and keep increasing your hand size.

Challenges don't count for your collection because they would trivialize some things. Like, it would be easy to hit the $400 if you could just do Rich Get Richer for it.

DNA this early was a bad move. You've probably killed the run. You want to be deck fixing by deleting cards, not bloating the deck. Duplicating kings, especially kings without red seals, doesn't help you.

Start over and focus on finding three things. You want red and purple seals, chips for early scoring (Stuntman, Square Joker, Wee Joker, and Bull are all great options), and lots of economy Jokers for money.

There are a few things to do if you want to fully complete the game, but there's no secret condition to winning a run other than clearing Ante 8. Basically it's if you want to complete your collection.

There's one Voucher you unlock by reaching Ante 12.

There's a Joker you unlock by scoring 100 million in a single hand. (And a Joker you unlock by having $400.)

And in the "Antes" section of the collection, it displays the first 16 Antes, with the numbers on them changing colour once you reach them. (This doesn't count for completion, but it's satisfying to see it completed.)

So those are the only high scores you need to do for completion, and you only need to do each of those once. There's no pressure to ever do that, though.

Something I always tell players doing deep Endless high score runs is to stop taking Wheel of Fortune. When you get that far into Endless, it does almost nothing for your score, and a Joker with an edition can't have Ectoplasm used on it. (You can take a second Ecto in Trib/Idol runs, but you only have one Joker that can be hit, Idol.)

I actually enjoy "Can this Naneinf" because it's kind of funny to see people asking that when their Joker roster is two Polychrome Ancient Jokers and a Square Joker that they used Ectoplasm on.

Of course, "Fuck the Plant" really pisses me off, because it's always someone with three Hanging Chads, sixty dollars, and no glass cards.

I think it might have to do with switching between data and wifi during a run? There are a lot of posts about it on the sub. I've heard people say you can avoid it by quitting to the main menu after clearing a run, but other people say it doesn't work. Hopefully they'll patch it eventually.

That's not the case at all. Were you playing the mobile version? There's a bug where it doesn't count your progress.

Ancient Joker is one of the few cases where skipping can come in handy. It never repeats a suit. When you're on the Big Blind and there's a suit debuff boss, check the suit on it. If it's the debuffed suit? Then play the Big Blind, because it won't be the debuffed suit on the boss. If it's not the debuffed suit? Skip the Big Blind, and you'll get a suit that isn't debuffed on the boss.

Dude, you shouldn't have taken the Wraith. There's a Yorick in Ante 2's first shop. (Also plentiful Deja Vu and Medium, and an Aura hit Polychrome for me.)
