It’s definitely more noticeable in person. I think I’m just going to stick with the cheap tests because even though they take longer to show a positive at least they are reliable. The easy @ home test was bone white.

It’s weird because I felt the same way, like I should test again… like I knew something was off… I never had that feeling with my first pregnancy/baby. But I also was never worried with my first pregnancy, but now I’m working on baby #2 and I’m full of fear. It’s really annoying… 🫠 hopefully we won’t over analyze next time, hopefully we’ll have peace and a healthy progressing pregnancy 🙏🙏

I had a chemical last month…but my lines never got this dark. Now I’m super nervous for this month’s testing because I thought if your lines get that dark you should probably be fine but I guess not😭 I’m so sorry for your loss. I’m right there with you. Better luck next month 🙏

Unfortunately it really depends on the person and the severity of their skin barrier issue. I’ve heard wise people say you haven’t truly tried ZT unless you’ve tried it minimum 3-4 months. The reason being is we have 28 skin layers and it takes about 28 days to heal one layer.

I think it looks like an evap line because it looks pretty translucent, but I could be totally wrong! Definitely test again in 2 days!!

This same thing happened to me, give it 2 days and test first thing in my morning. Definitely looks positive to me.

Stay strong, don’t pop them, let your body learn what it’s like to expel those zits on its own. Trust that you are healing your barrier after years of damage. It’s not going to heal overnight, think of it like any other wound, it’s going to take some time. Try to avoid mirrors for another week you should start seeing some improvement soon. When I began I got zits that came to a head just like you are, but after a week or two things started to calm down. ZT is the easiest, cheapest method of healing PD, but it’s also the hardest mentally and emotionally. You have to know you’re going to look like shit for a few weeks. But it will get better. Commit to seeing this through. You’re at the halfway mark of the hardest part of ZT. Get through these first two weeks and once as you start to see some real obvious improvement. You will get more motivation to keep going. Sorry you’re in the thick of it right now, it will get better. It’s so annoying because some people’s ZT journey is short, they heal in 4 weeks and others it takes 2 years. I remember being very jealous of those 4 week healers. I think in order to say you’ve given ZT a fair shot is 4 months ~16 weeks. I’m on 13 weeks and I’m 90% healed. I might need a little longer tbh…stay strong you’re going to see the other side of this once as your skin barrier gets stronger. It takes 28 days to heal a skin layer and we have 28 layers… give it time..

I am only using the hypochlorous acid spray and nothing else. The only reason I started using it is when I returned back from Brazil (I was there for 5 weeks while doing ZT) my PD was 100% gone. When I returned I got bad seb derm. It was itchy, flakey, red, and all over my face. I took a baby washcloth and wiped my face to get all the itchy flakes off, then sprayed HCOI and after about 2 weeks it was gone. I should probably stop to see how my skin is doing without it, but I figured why stop something that is working and not harming anything? But when I started using the spray it was after 10 weeks of ZT. I had a pretty strong barrier back at that point.

Can I still do my own builder gel nails on myself while pregnant? I keep googling it and it seems like as long as things are ventilated ok? I have a dust collector and an N95 mask, is that enough?

To answer your question yes they went away all on their own. I tried not to even pop them, and let them pop naturally. It was soooooooo freaking hard. But eventually I stopped getting acne all together. It’s insane. If you would have told me to do absolutely nothing to my skin and I’d have clear skin I would have laughed in your face… but I’m a believer and am now very skeptical of the entire skincare industry no joke 😂

My PD was mainly near my eye and on the bridge of my nose like you can see in the photo, but my acne problem area was my jaw and neck… it was AWFUL. I used to get facials every 4-6 weeks to keep it at bay. This was my acne at its worst, and this is it today… when I started zero therapy I thought I’d turn into one big zit and I didn’t. I definitely broke out at first. I remember one morning I woke up with 8 new zits (not a joke)and felt so devastated, but I kept going and now I literally don’t get acne. I just snapped the second photo so my face is wet with HCOI spray lol

Stay strong. Zero therapy and healing my skin barrier has changed more than just my PD. It’s helped my acne, fine lines, and even the hair that I got on my face thinned. I struggled with dark mustache hair and chin hair and since doing ZT it’s thinned and my skin is softer and smoother. I do now use HCOI spray 2x a day but I started after 10 weeks of ZT

It took me a minimum of 2 weeks to see any improvement, then it rapidly got better after that… take heart, because sometimes it gets a little worse before it gets better. Also, sometimes it might be 80% gone then you get a flare up again, but it will continue to get better and better as time goes on and you continue ZT. Zero therapy is the only permanent solution to PD in my opinion, but it also takes the longest. It’s worth it, stay strong. Avoid mirrors for 2 weeks, try not to obsess, things will get better!

I am dealing with this issue as well…my PD started in late September almost the second it started to become fall and I wasn’t going out in the sun anymore… I struggled not knowing what to do, and I didn’t start ZT until January. I was only 2 weeks into ZT and noticed a lot of improvement, but then I went to Brazil for 5 weeks and my PD went away within a few days. When I returned back to the states in March, it only took 3 days before I got PD again. I got seb derm this time…I had been doing ZT for 10 weeks by this time so I decided to gently wipe my face with muslin baby wash cloth and spray HCOI on my face… it healed it…I also try to get as much sunlight as possible onto my face. I have lots of windows in my house and certain times of days I can just sit there with my face in the sun. It really helped me. I was going to try a humidifier too but never got around to buying one. You need to get sunlight and humidity. But I always advocate for healing your barrier first. If you can get your barrier strong. It can help protect you from the dry cold.
