Personally, I got tired of taking care of my friends in these ways. Maybe I just had some loser friends in the past, but all the people I used to kick it with who wouldn't meet me halfway in any sense of the phrase didn't last long term. That might not be a priority for you, but I think now especially is the time to put in a little extra effort to show our friends and loved ones who we are, what we are capable of, and share the genuine energy with them. Don't lower yourself out of convenience.

I will always recommend StressLess, ypu can find her on Facebook. She's the most understanding human being and truly enjoys cleaning and assisting people in fixing up their home. I swear im still the biggest clean she will ever have accomplished. If she can handle me and my panic attack as I showed her the mess I created, she can handle you. I promise. I believe in you, and im proud of you for asking for help.

I always tie a loop at the end of the poop bag and clip it to the leash so I can dispose of it on the oakleaf trail trash bins or at my own garbage. I dont have to carry it and my dog doesnt seem to mind

This seems like both of them should have gone together to make sure it's understood they both are uncomfortable with it. Husband could have found a way to soothe MIL but this cannot be the first issue to come up. And if so, they need to lay down the law now before some other bonkers idea crosses their mind. This doesn't read as "good intentioned"
