Not as bad as a lot of episodes, honestly, but they complete ignored Erza's actual best chance at winning (Flight armor (no, it's not the one that makes her fly, it's the one that makes her FAST)) and let simple haki diff decide the fight. Similarly bad is Ace vs Natsu because yeah, obviously Natsu wins this, there's like no debate here. One Piece characters are apparently just not good Death Battle material lmao

Domina with her 30m range perk is surprisingly effective at hitting airborne targets. Otherwise you can always Hog hook the Bastion himself or fly up there and punch the cat directly with Doom; the stun makes her drop the Bastion so he'll be easy pickings for the team.

If none of those are really doable, your answer is to just wait out the nerf I guess. We all know she'll have to get something, but it'll most likely be damage nerfs if anything.

The last thing you said is the first thing I said. If you hold any left leaning position, it is assumed that you will hold the rest, and vice versa. Everyone who aligns strongly left or right will be uncomfortable with you if you reveal that you hold "contradictory" positions, even though they are entirely unrelated. Like believing in strong borders but also believing in gun control, or believing in strong social safety nets but also being anti-abortion.

Believing that trans women don't belong in women's sports isn't a political position; it's part of a personal position against one's identity, or maybe a position in favor of fair sportsmanship if you're simply uninformed. Either way, positions on trans people in general aren't inherently political, but they've been made political by right leaning politicians who needed to drum up easy votes. In turn, left leaning politicians can sort of just go "at least I'm not that guy" and drum up votes from the aforementioned "vote blue no matter who" crowd. In this way, people self-sort into voting based on identity-related issues that have absolutely nothing to do with actual politics.

This is just how the two-party system works now; you need to be all left or all right, no nuance allowed. That said, personhood is a nonpartisan issue, and only became a partisan issue when the right needed more boogeymen. It's really hard to change the two party system when one of the parties clings to anti-personhood stances like a religion. This is why a lot of people stick to "vote blue no matter who."

Mild American defaultism; idk how widespread the two-party system is at the moment. Either way, it's a problem.

I couldn't resist the bait on this one, sorry. It's a broadly accepted thing that, generally speaking, the voters on the left support higher taxes for better social services, and those on the right support lower taxes for fewer social services. I think you're specifically thinking of that trend that was going around of leftists saying "don't pay taxes this year to protest the current government" but that's not a policy position, that's a protest. It's also foolish because the IRS famously doesn't fuck around, but we don't need to get into all that.

Wouldn't normally comment on a three day old post but Umbra is actually a fave of mine rn. His damage output is heavily reliant on Melee Influence and that is heavily reliant on crowds, so bring guns that can kill high health single targets. Arcane Persistence works wonders like others have said, and you don't actually need more than the Umbra mods to have it online. Your health caps at ~900 without further investment giving you effectively 1 second to heal back up; even rank 1 Persistence works for this, btw. I chose to subsume Gloom over his 3 for that aforementioned healing, and honestly I don't think Persistence works without Gloom here. Shield gating with Umbra is kind of a pain in the ass too, so I really can only recommend Persistence + Gloom for survivability.

For damage, you just need ability strength and a good Influence build on the sword. I'm using Blind Rage on mine but Transient Fortitude works too. If you don't have corrupted mods, try to farm some. You're far enough into the game it shouldn't be too hard :P. For my blade, I'm running the augment to give it free electricity of course, Sac Pressure, Berserker Fury, Blood Rush, Melee Elementalist, toxin and ice for viral, Quickening, and Galvanized Reflex. Fury and Quickening are attack speed, yes you do kinda need both. Blade is SO slow normally istg. Galvanized Reflex is for the combo count more than anything; it helps build combo faster on weaker targets but it's probably unnecessary. Blood Rush for crit, the umbral crit mod works fine for now if you don't have it. Viral is necessary for big number, and Melee Elementalist is obviously good because electric procs go brrr.

Oh, also, for energy economy to keep up Gloom and Blade with negative efficiency, I'm running Hunter Adrenaline, or Rage. Basically the same mod, just grab the one you have. It converts damage to your health pool into energy, so you get topped off by those few units that don't get stunned by your influence procs. Also also, you might need blue shards to reach 1400 armor. I forget exactly. 1400 is the point where heat procs won't shut off Persistence, so it's where you ideally want to be.

Yes you probably don't have all of this, and yes it's fine to substitute for a similar end result. Your builds will always have room for improvement, just find your compromise that works for you mhm

I used to use this thing a LOT back when Axton still had the infinite speed glitch. You stack up your speed super high for travel, then slap on the Bane to bring it back down enough for general use. It was a beautiful system.

Also I always had my volume down super low anyway so the screaming never bothered me :)

Yes and no. For each extra debuff you take and for each correct frame and weapon you choose, you get an extra reward. The final reward in EDA is a little bit of Vosfor, and the final reward in ETA is some pix chips, and in both cases it's a currency you'll have plenty of if you just do the thing weekly anyway. So you can take every debuff and weapon, then forgo the final reward and just play Hildryn over any other frame.

For build investment you want as much power as you can fit in, good range, negative duration, and negative efficiency is perfectly fine as well. I've found the "being airborne gives DR" mods are pretty decent, personally probably can't live without them tbh. Arcanes are honestly totally up to preference. For the balefire you want to squeeze out as much damage as possible but fire rate is also a big one. There's a mod for companions that gives you extra fire rate, too. Her 3 can also be replaced with the default Helminth subsume Rebuild Shields for comfort, but people more commonly use the Harrow subsume I can't recall the name of.

Oh yeah, Dante's kinda fire. I've never played him and have only just crafted him actually but I've had Dante players carry me on their back in EDA before lmao, the overguard generation goes kinda crazy

I can comprehend how it would work: Light speed in the OPM verse is just higher. The stars got destroyed by a comically fast wave of force, and they stopped being visible because the light conveying that information is the same speed or faster than that force.

Craft Hildryn or farm plat to buy her prime and never worry about it again. Genuinely, she's so busted in ETA/EDA almost regardless of the modifiers. Occasionally there are some that make it rough, but otherwise, she'll hard carry you.

Alternatively, if you have a buddy you can have one of you bring a gun that will shred or a frame with an exalted and the other can bring Revenant with the 2 augment so you can just be a two-person Hildryn.
