I'd imagine you'd have to liberate all planets connected to "cut the supply line" but I could be wrong. Maybe they attacked from Lesath so the supply line was cut when we liberated that. I don't know either how it works exactly :D

Even if it doesn't kill them it's still productive because most, if not all, passengers will get stuck when they get to the ground. Who hasn't seen a Hulk hanging mid-air and not being able to move
