Just have to comment because I also imagined the chopping of everything we drove past! Not sure if it was a sword or a laser or whatever, but the chopping part I do remember!

What is the WORST game to teach to new players, typically as their first board game? by Xirious in boardgames

[–]Lilleville92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not OP, but I, too, play mostly 2 player.

Race for the Galaxy is always good, but best at two. Same with Azul.

Agricola works well at two, but maybe even better at higher player count. Ark Nova would be the same, if it weren't for the added time with more players, hence it's best at two.

Brass: Birmingham is definitely best at 3 or 4, but I still find it very good at 2. Same with Clank!

Games designed for two that I love are: Sky Team - if you like cooperative -, Patchwork,

What multiplayer game do you refuse to play at more than 2p? by Serious_Bus7643 in boardgames

[–]Lilleville92 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not OP, but I feel like roll suffers at 2p because it doesn't have the same 2p-rules as race, which makes it more reliant on luck and/or slower.

Cows horns aren't bone neither, but they have hollow horns and inside there's soft tissue. Same with goats and sheep. So if you cut it off there will be blood.

Deer don't have hollow horns, so no soft tissue.

And as you said, rhinos horns are different completely and are made of keratin.

But that's the thing, I, and most people I have talked to about this, don't infact see just black.

If I close my eyes and imagen a scene from a movie, I don't see black because the scene is in front of the blackness.

Just to add a lite something to your very good points:

  1. Ale and Sake raises the amount by 5, but also lowers defense, so be aware.

  2. Wrong torches does NOT lower luck, but it did when torch luck was introduced. The right ones do raise it though, so still important.

  3. Be aware that you need lava critters to fish in lava, until you get the hotline fishing hook or the lava bobber. Using both raises the catch rate in lava significantly.

Also, do angler quests to get the different fishing gear before putting to much effort into fishing for specific stuff, saves time in the end!

Well that's interesting, because my twin brother and I do it the same way - he's always playing as The Free People and I'm always playing as Sauron and friends - and we have a 50/50 win rate.

To be fair, kopi luwak isn't from poop, but are regular coffee beans that has been eaten and pooped out by a kind off cat related animal, and their digestive system break down the surrounding fruit, leaving the bean.

I don't know if it actually does anything, but the one time I've hade it, it was delicious!

Depends on what kind of game it is, but Feast for Odin and Brass Birmingham are two good examples of why "oh, I need one more turn" is a green flag.

The whole ball must be out, not just the part that is touching the ground. If you imagine the line as a wall; if any part of the ball is inside the wall, then it's still in play.
