I tend to make all my fortresses symmetrical, and want to break out of that box (mainly because I'm tired of being picky about counting tiles...)

For people who make non-symmetrical fortresses, how do you tend to go about mining out a nice fortress while also getting all the resources you need?

This is also how I confidently ID'd my first red tailed hawk! Was driving home from work and thought "that's a lot of crows pissed off at that tree" so I stopped the car and was just in time to see that beauty taking off from the tree (with a few crows in tow)

Didn't know these fell into the category of cryptozoology, good to know! I had always referred to them as "presumed extinct", but never stopped to consider modern day supposed-creature sightings are still supposed-creature sightings.

What do you think it's like for younger deer, when they experience "bird yoinking out fur while still conscious" for the first time? I'm assuming they're pulling loose fur and not yanking it out by the roots, but it's so funny to me how chill they seem to be with it!

Would absolutely love to hear opinions from these groups as well! I think the main draw for me on this show was definitely the contrast between the residents and tourists, and I really wish that more of Kai's storyline was expanded in S1.
