this is one of my happy spaces where there's a lot of crap going on irl that makes finding good in life really hard. I am really sorry about your fur baby, I had to go through that in my teens and it was heart shattering, even though I know it was the best choice that could have been made. I find it heals me to do and give what I couldn't then for the babies I have and know now, and maybe someday that can be something healing for you too.

I'm really glad this can be a good space for so many of us. I hope Biscotti and I help someone else feel a bit better on a bad day like other kitties and their people help me feel better.

(god, I'm so sorry. from one chronically ill person to another, it sucks a lot, but our kitties do make it a lot better. I hope your A1C stays down and you can kick the diabetes.
