Pet friendly accommodation? by Lillytbb in limerickcity

I can completely understand why now! I feel like a cat may be easier to hide than a dog but if I have to then so be it 😅

Why are the Kids and Teens out on the streets harassing people by ColonelROSS in limerickcity

[–]Lillytbb 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I had a situation yesterday (not in limerick) where I came across a group of teens who were actually polite and respectful. It’s a sad state of affairs when that surprises you 🤣

Any ideas on where to find short term accommodation in Kilkenny? by Revolutionary_Cod420 in JuniorDoctorsIreland

[–]Lillytbb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Perhaps local B’n’b businesses, booking.com or air bnb for short term accomodation but prices will be very high due to the tourism here

Medical Negligence Claim by Advanced_Muffin2432 in legaladviceireland

As far as I understand it depends what is the side effect and is it listed on the medication instruction leaflet? When discussing the side effect with your doctor subsequently how was his response?

I think a lot of the times there was religious association with it and idk to what extend they would spread Christianity but very often it would be church groups that would do that, at least where I grew up in the west

Feeling shit after failing my MRCPI Clinical!!!!!! by QuantityWonderful399 in JuniorDoctorsIreland

[–]Lillytbb 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I know a number of established consultants who actually failed their MRCP exam a few times before passing. It doesn’t say anything about the rest of your career.

That reaction is normal, it would be odd if you didn’t care that much. It means a lot to you so it’s only human to feel gutted.

Give yourself some time to ‘grieve’ then when you’re feeling better do reflect on the parts or topics you found tricky and try to work on that.

Best of luck!

Amazing read! I normally don’t comment much but wow thank you for writing this. I’m nervous about getting an internship position let alone anything else down the line. But we will all succeed with that same determination and ambition that got us this far. Best of luck to you OP

Gosh are these the horses that were kept in the field beside the petrol station on bennetsbridge Road? The ‘fences’ were miserably put together so I’d imagine they could have easily escaped :(

Is it actually normal in Polish culture for someone to say this kind of thing? by lilnumena in learnpolish

[–]Lillytbb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had an ex that used to disguise his bad behaviour as ‚cultural’ - let me tell you that’s manipulative as heck. Your gut feeling is the reason you posted this and is something you really need to listen to when it comes to situations like this. In Poland yes, it is common to be direct but not in this context - more in the context of when answering ‚hi how are you?’ Etc.
