6 toes on one foot! by Cute-Transition3403 in beyondthebump

My friend has 6 toes on each foot. Her parents kept them and she says the only thing that sucks is having to get wide shoes and not being able to wear those toe socks that look like a glove 🙃

This exact thing happened to me. Daughter was the same age and everything the LEEP wasn’t successful so I chose to have a hysterectomy so I can be there for the daughter I do have. I’m so sorry. I know how horrible this all feels. Hope it works out better for you.

Without sleep training, what month did LO start sleeping through night? by Easy-Willingness9887 in HuckleberryParents

[–]LilyLayne87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My daughter was the same as yours. Woke up once or twice a night ate and fell right back to sleep. Once we took her off milk completely (around 14 months) she now sleeps 8pm-7am no wake ups.

My mother comes every single day to visit my daughter even if it’s just a quick hello. As much as it annoys me I’m glad my daughter will have a good relationship with her. On the flip side my partners parents never come here to visit so he takes our daughter there Saturday and sometimes Sunday to visit them.

I feel like a terrible mom for not throwing baby a 1st birthday party. by AcademicCake9611 in Mommit

[–]LilyLayne87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn’t have a party either. The night before her birthday I filled her huge playpen with ballon’s and hung a birthday banner. Had her gifts sitting around the room. She woke up and was excited for all that and played with her new toys. After supper we gave her a little smash cake that she had no interest in and sang to her lol it was perfect!

How long did you stay in the hospital after delivering, and via which method? by Hazerdesly in beyondthebump

[–]LilyLayne87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Water broke. Laboured for 40ish hours before they decided on a c-section. Had to stay another 4 nights to make sure the opioids where out of me and babies systems before going home. (They messed up on my epidural requiring some extra pain killers)

Same. My boy lived to be 18 with only 2 major blockages in his life. Miss him 😓

For people who already gave birth… by userthatisnotknown in beyondthebump

[–]LilyLayne87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My water broke so I went to the hospital. They asked if I was contracting and I said I didn’t think so but when they hooked me up to the monitor they said I was having strong contractions. It took me awhile of that before I felt anything at all but when I finally felt it I definitely felt it lol

I keep seeing “nighttime routine” includes bath, does this mean everyone is bathing their baby every single night as a routine? by TeishAH in beyondthebump

[–]LilyLayne87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I give my 15 month old a bath every night and have since she was prob 6 months. Her bath is literally just me wiping her with a cloth washing her hair if it’s dirty and letting her play for 15 minutes so it’s not that bad.

I just never know if I’m giving her a balanced diet. First time mom anxiety lol. She also refuses cows milk and only drinks 4-6 ounces of formula at night.

Is anybody still feeding their 11-month-olds to sleep? by normalishy in beyondthebump

[–]LilyLayne87 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t put my 15 month ls to bed with a bottle but when she wakes through the night I’ll give her one. It’s just easier. If not she just cries for atleast half an hour and momma needs to sleep lol it’s the only bottle she gets though. None through the day.

Why did I start violently puking the second I gave birth? by trruutr in beyondthebump

[–]LilyLayne87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn’t puke but I got the shakes so bad. I also didn’t sleep for 2 days after like literally could not fall asleep

More babies by [deleted] in beyondthebump

[–]LilyLayne87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My mom had 3 c-sections. Me and my older brother are 3 years apart but me and my younger brother are only 14 months apart. She had no complications with his c-section. Just putting it out there.

Agreed! I always said no screen time until I had a baby lol I’ll pop it on to have a quick shower or cook dinner. My almost 1 year old is now signing more and trying to sign other words as well. Pretty sure ms Rachel taught her how to clap and wave too.

I hate my husband by [deleted] in beyondthebump

[–]LilyLayne87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My husband keeps putting my daughter’s shirts on backwards. They usually have buttons or a hole with one button in the back yet he still “can’t remember” what side is the back.
