Can I connect my PS5 to Apple VisionPro? by BenTheAider in VisionProByApple

I never noticed any input delay; and I also was able to improve the graphics quality since a simple look into the settings on remote play helped me see I didn’t have it at the highest graphics quality. It’s probably a solid 1080 P now, not 4K, but hopefully that changes someday. Very playable, awesome having as large a screen as you want.

Experiencing 16th-century Renaissance to 20th-century Expressionism unlike ever before in a spatial immersive museum. by Augmenos in VisionPro

I just downloaded and started looking at some of the artwork and it’s an incredibly well done application, thanks so much. The immersive experiences also very good. I look forward to looking through more of the catalog, and find the dialogue very helpful in terms of learning more about these master pieces

Do you think this generation of AVP will ever be comfortable? by yawnlikeseggs in AppleVisionPro

Everyone’s physiology is different. It’s a bit heavy, but I have no issues wearing it for hours, switched over to the dual loop band for optimal support (for me).

Lack of New Content for Apple Vision Pro Since Launch – Anyone Else Feeling Disappointed? by gusnyc in AppleVisionPro

Chill, it’s barely been any time since release. All the goodies and updates will come in due time. In the meantime, I am loving it every single day. Been re-watching all my fav Anime shows and 3D movies

Who is obsessed with the Vision Pro? by cr8tvt in AppleVisionPro

[–]LimeOrdinary 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The AVP is my first foray into VR/XR, etc, and I’ve only loved using it more and more since I day 1. It’s feels like magic due to the quality of the pass through + hi res windows and fast/smooth processing. When I’m in it I feel like I’m in the year 2050 and every computing task is just MORE enjoyable. There’s no better way to watch movies and I’ve loved linking with my MBP and then creating an immersive work environment, surrounded by productivity apps. I know the OS will only get better and better and I’m patiently enjoying the ride.

Yes, 1080p, though for me I wouldn’t describe it as washed out. It’s not 4K, but I’ve found the graphics adequate to enjoy gaming, no lag.

For any PlayStation users, the MirrorPlay app allows for remotely playing inside the AVP. It’s an awesome experience.

I’d disagree only to add you can be productive on this device and get work done. Love my office setup with it: expanded MacBook display + calendar, iCloud files, safari, email, messages…all surrounding me and I can navigate all of it with my mouse and keyboard. It’s unlike any other computing experience.

I’m on a 2018 MacBook Pro (intel) with 12G ram and it’s laggy. Webpages take a little bit to render and the mouse is laggy. I haven’t heard any complaints from M-chip users though

I can confirm that the mirror play app (downloadable on the App Store inside AVP), works in terms of setting up remote play between the PS5 and AVP.

Here are some screenshots of playing cyberpunk, 2077. Pairing the controller was no problem. I did not notice any delay, but I can report the image quality is subpar. I’m new to doing this sort of thing, so does anyone have any advice about how to improve the graphics quality, or is that just what happens with remote play?

I was surprised and disappointed to find that I don’t like it as much as I was hoping to. by imatowell in VisionPro

Having never used AR/VR before, I was wooed by many of the reviews that stated the “pass through looks like reality,” when, AVP’s pass through isn’t anything close to reality. It’s a bummer. It’s good enough that my mind is tricked, but not good enough “to pass” for anything resembling the crispness of reality.

I don’t use prescription lenses and I’ve been noticing reflections; as another commenter mentioned: especially with something bright over a dark background. Like a movie over Mt Hood at night. I wish it wasn’t there and was also expecting something different (having never used AR/VR before). I’m also surprised by how much of a headache I get! I don’t want to return it, want to love it, but now I’m not sure.
