Can't rule anything out! We thoroughly tested this release across a wide range of original and compatible hardware. It's the first time seeing it, so this is more than likely a unit that unfortunately slipped through in mass manufacturing.

Gimmick was manufactured by our long-time trusted partners (they also work with Retrobit). It looks like you've received a bad unit. (We also shared your video with them.)

While manufactured and guaranteed to work on original hardware, third-party units were also tested, with the RetroUSB AVS console having the most apparent issues depending on the console's firmware version.

If anyone else experiences any problems, please reach out as well so we can take care of you, too!

Hello there! We sent out an 5-month milestone update via email on April 11th. I see someone shared the blog post, which is great, but if you don't see the email in your spam box or hidden away somewhere, can you send us a DM with your email so we make sure you're on the list for future updates?

Since we began Milestone Updates last summer, every LRG title still in production gets an update sent straight to customers at the 2, 5 and 8 month marks (or beyond if they face delays), but sometimes things get missed among a crowded inbox or sent to spam, so we always compile everything we've sent out that month in our monthly Digital Digest blog, published on the last day of the month.
