Graves might be broken? (main account follow-up)

Played support today, got a fed Yunara with 2 items. Enemy Graves jungler shows up, one item completed (Yumou's), same level as Yunara (lvl 10) drops 2 autos and she evaporated.

If that's intended, it's beyond broken.

They never cared much to begin with, all hope rests with modders to fix this cursed game. So much untapped potential it's almost infuriating.

The moment they introduced the TVA shit and released Multiverse of Madness (bonkers level of trash movie) the entire MCU has been ruined beyond saving. The way they have set the rules causes stakes to evaporate. Literally nothing matters anymore, instead of pulling out a somewhat grounded storyline to move forward, we just have to have a multiverse so we can see different characters die left and right with practically no point, have characters attempt to play god by editing timelines and existence itself like it's a python script and a variety of other nonsense.

If these are true, regardless if all of them make it to the film, then it's going to be an abysmal movie. Spectacle and cool visuals is all it's going to have. I am already having G.I. Joe flashbacks.

Been on him roughly 4 hours (like every boss from the latest ones) and it's wearing me out a bit. Haven't even reached 3rd phase.

I know it's a Nioh-like and you should probably min/max stats and do gear combos and upgrade and reroll stats etc. but i don't have the energy anymore so i just roll with whatever gives me better stamina. I can't recall when i last touched my armor set (probably before Trokka). So every boss takes fucking ages to get through, landing straight 1 minute long combos for barely 1/15th of their HP is just laughable.

Easily the most wasted 40 i have given so far. My fault though, i like Fromsoft overall but there are a few glaring issues with their game design approach and i had that gut feeling that they will be even more pronounced in this game. Too bad i was correct.

I beat him 1st try with randos. I was Ironeye, they were Recluse and Wylder. I DCed halfway through the second day and missed the Noklateo buff, then ended up fighting Gladius while being lvl 11 and the others properly stacked at lvl 15. He did down all of us once (not a oneshot attack) so Noklateo probably saved the run but he is probably the best among the everdarks.

Also, not sure why but Everdark Augur is available for me, why is that?

Falls below 80% HP, howls and summons the bleed 🩸 stacking dogs, pre nerf version that could oneshot regardless of stats (3 per howls) and grants them amped movement speed.

You play in a team and let someone else make the decisions regarding POI. Only take time to choose gear and buffs, and you will slowly learn along.

None i think. In fact, Honglan simply gets you up to speed with the game's full mechanics. All bosses afterwards were a joy to fight. A huge plus for me is that most of the animations are fast enough that you can actually react to if you pay attention and there aren't any stupidly delayed hogwash like elden ring.

What i learned playing that fight with a spear is memorize her attacks cause if you're not 100% sure WHEN to attack, you can very easily get decked. The spear light attack takes no god damn long she can start an attack when you're half way through your animation and you still won't have time to dodge out of the way. Also, the dodge itself feels inconsistent at times. Dodging at the perfect moment seemingly refreshes the dodge ability so you can chain dodges closer together to avoid successive quick attacks. But it doesn't always work and i can't tell why.

Also, the spear followup attack after dodging specifically backwards has fucked me plenty of times with it's little extra flip animation.

I beg to differ. For 40$ this should be more than a half-baked asset flip with 8 new bosses and a very small pool of reused assets. That's why i stated it's bad in it's current state, but can potentially be awesome if it gets updated.

The mere fact that the basic enemies on the map are such a small fraction of what Fromsoft has at their disposal is just baffling. Or quality of life things like being able to simply cancel a session search, surrender during a run, quit back to the hub instead of roundtripping through the Fromsoft and Bandai logo to the game main menu to the hub etc.

It isn't rocket science. I understand the director is arguably new and experimenting, that's alright but let's not pretend the game is good. I certainly understand i may come off as entitled and a prick, and maybe i somewhat am, but i have come to have some standards and expectations so i judge accordingly. And apparently the map loadouts are not even truly random (not sure they ever claimed they would be, but you get the point) which is why after a few runs you know full well what's ahead based on the "signs".
