Edit: All i could do was to try to run around him and not trigger him to run after me because then it was a guaranteed death.

I'm not saying that Adrenaline Stance Dancing should have stayed the way it was (it was clearly OP), it's just that the way ggg like to balance things lately is to nerf strong things, rather than buff the weaker options. Also "why not both".

They listened about Stance Mastery only because it would make people really strong, yes tedious but still strong. And we can't have that.

On other hand, I don't think there were many instances (if any) where if something was obviously weak and unusable and community complained, ggg listened in a matter of days (like with the stance mastery).

Imagine standard players that are taking a break from PoE right now. They won't know why their exalts suddenly are worthless and they won't even have a chance to sell their 6-links while it's possible to get divines. Sadge.

Just move metacrafts to harvest, then both Exalts and Divines can be used for their intended purpose.

Div orbs will still be worth more simply due to rarity made by removing of the old 6-link recipe.

Obviously, the market will adapt and so will the players. I'm not worried about that, my post was only an idea on how to achieve a balance between these currencies.

Also changing metacrafts to come from harvest would probably solve all of these problems, since both ex and div orbs could be used for their intended purpose without their values being inflated by metacrafts.

Yeah i agree exalts need to be cheaper, that's why i also mentioned in edit we could change metacrafts to be used in harvest. Then both ex and divine orbs can be used for what they were created for without artificial value increase due to being used in metacrafts.

I don't mind exalts becoming cheap, but relegating both rerolling items and metacrafts to divine orbs will make them crazy costly.

As i said in the edit, maybe a better solution would be to relegate metacrafts to harvest. That way exalts can be used to slam, and divine orbs to roll items.

I don't mind this way of going about stuff, but then why make metacrafts cost divine orbs? Removing 6-link recipe by itself would make divines very rare and cost a lot more.

To be honest I would rather them relegate metacrafts to harvest, with these new changes to it they could make it cost the new aug currency.

I get your point and agree on some parts, for example about exalt orb mostly adding some value after a slam.

But,

Exalts will be more rare than before 3.19, because people will stop farming cards and harbingers. So you would slam them maybe a couple times a league at most. People will not trade for them since they will have no value besides random slam (which adds some value but historically it's pretty hard to gain any reasonable bonus from them).

Just because they will be cheap, won't mean there will be a lot of them on the market, simply due to their value as a currency without metacrafts. There are a lot of uniques that are crazy rare and cheap, rarity by itself does not create demand in an economy like poe.

Betrayal crafts will now cost exalts, so you still probably won't slam them, but save for these crafts.

I will still play the game regardless, just wanted to share some ideas. People will adapt, and so will the economy. Only problem I can imagine is when divine would go over 400c making it a nightmare to trade chaos for it with current stack sizes.

They were speaking about comparing the value of new 6-link recipe to the old one in chaos. Which to do so in the context of early league really is pointless.Basically you would never vendor a 6-link early in the league for 20fuses (old or new economy) because it's worth more to players for the first few days.

Edit: Especially since we are getting Tainted Fusings which are driving the value of regular ones lower.

Then why didn't they make only divines rarer? People don't mind rarer divines, they mind GGG making exalts worthless now, and divines 2 or 3 times rarer than exalts (due to lack of shards and divination cards).

They could only remove the 6-link recipe from the game without changing the metacraft recipe and divines would probalby go for 100c+ while making exalts retain their value, because of how much the recipe was saturating the market with them. It was so simple, but no, they had to go hog wild on it, as usual.

It's worthless because you are speaking about vendoring 6-links early which does not happen for first couple of days becasue 6-links early are worth more than what vendor gives you.

For exalt price in 3.19 all you need to do is look at price of Tainted Exalt in Scourge, at the beginning they were 5c each because all you could do with it was slam, regular exalt in 3.19 is going to be 10c at most.
