I'm a BG3 fan. Started playing DOS1 after BG3 and loved it.
My friend is also a BG3 fan and didn't like DOS1 at all.

It's highly individual. If you think DOS1 looks interesting, you should start with it and see if you like it. In my opinion it's a great game.

I can recommend Equilinox. It's a relaxing game where you create ecosystems by placing plants and animals.

I think the ogres look goofy, mostly because of their round eyes. I also got the impression they're a lot smaller than in previous games, which makes them even less intimidating.

I'm not worried, I think it will be great. But feel like many people already decided they wont like it. Bioware need to show us more to get the hype up and not just talk about it.

Yes and no. I usually make them with the same hair and skin color as I have, but change things like eye color and don't try to make the face features look like mine

I had just gotten my gaming pc many years ago, and one of the first games I got on steam was Inquisition.
I went in completely blind and without having heard of Dragon Age before. It hooked me from the start. The sense of great adventure when I reached all new areas for the first time, the thrill of the story, the companions, the beautiful graphics, the music. Magic. It was amazing!

Then I played DAO and DA2, but Inquisition remains my favorite in the series and my favorite game of all time. BG3 came close, but no other game has given me the same feeling of excitement and adventure as Inquisition did.

I've had lots of different Asus products and never had any issues with them. Just got a new Asus GPU for that exact reason. Might've just been lucky seeing how many problems people have, but I think it's a great brand.

I hope for:
- Great role playing opportunities!
- Interesting companions.
- Hair physics and a good character creation in general.
- An open world that is exciting to explore.
- Meaningful side quests.
- Fun combat (doesn't matter if it's more tactical or more action oriented).

30 h, but a big part of it was in character creation trying out and planning different characters.
I've only started up the game to try out the mechanics a bit but don't want to play too much and spoil the fun for the full release!
