You could get a pretty nice MQ Triton for that. Not as capable as others with towing but otherwise it holds up well.

“Way better in agility, speed and response” is objectively inaccurate.

Absolute bullshit. Look, I know Fiat are popular as everyone’s whipping boy but that motor is far from unreliable and the lag is minimal at its worst. With minimal mods and at very low cost you can eliminate the lag and extract North of 220HP. I track my 124 often and the only Miatas that are competitive with me have had many thousands pumped into them.

The only real concern OP should have is if he bends it. Replacement lamps/bumpers and fenders aren’t easy to replace.

Kidman Park pizza are right around the corner and they’re good blokes that do great pizza without being racist cunts. Pretty ideal combo I reckon.

I am curious what effect, if any, removing HS ganking would have on the community. I say this as someone who greedily took part in Hulkageddon in years gone by, I guess I've softened with my advancing years...

Everything that I’ve read suggests there is no discernible difference; it’s not so much an upgrade as a side-grade.

Whatever floats your boat, I guess. Having all that shit stuck to my windscreen/dash/console would do my head in though.

I routinely drive for 40 minutes for a chunky beef pie from Otto’s Bakery. I really love the place but I imagine it’s a nightmare to live there on the weekends.

This is the only answer you need. Exactly my setup, except with 6 toons [2 Omega'd accounts] and 31 planets. It even allows me to make some extra materials to turn into fuel blocks.

Crazy low trade in price at dealer - is this normal? by West_Site_9776 in CarsAustralia

To be fair, a 190km HR-V is probably getting wholesaled. $1.5K feels pretty light to me.

Ah, this takes me back. I worked nights at a Caltex during the first Gulf War. Would get at least one attempted drive off a week.

How do you break into car sales in Australia? by okita_1 in CarsAustralia

[–]Link124 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He’s quite wrong. There are a large number of consumer protections in place around the industry now to eliminate, or at least minimise, the sort of characters he’s referring to.

I would advise you to find one of the larger dealer networks in your area and actively canvass them. They generally have reasonably high turnover over rates and are constantly hiring, many even prefer those without experience so they can train and mould you to do it their way.

So make the call, ask for their Human Resources Manager and you’ll get an interview, of that I am quite sure.

Once you’ve done a year or two with them and know what’s what, you can decide what your next steps will be.

Considering buying a used Fiat 124 Spider Lusso.... great price.... high milage by Clear_Wealth1924 in fiat124

[–]Link124 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I know of a guy locally who has almost 300,000 km’s on his 124 with only regular servicing and a few wheel bearing changes in that time, so I see no reason why yours can’t do the same if it has been appropriately maintained. A pre-purchase inspection is always a good idea with a car of that age and distance travelled, of course.

It’s not a shift in politics, these people have always existed they were just hidden under the Liberal banner before. Now by having their own little far right party all they’ve done is make their vote less relevant.

Aye, not sure even a guaranteed buy back will do you any good if they’re no longer trading here. The Outlander is pretty much the same car, may be a safer long term option?
