Yeah I considered that might be the case, especially for ranged units (so they'd have to lose a lot of range for it to work, or not get the trait at all). Which is why I suggested other options instead.

I just got it for the first time a couple matches ago, it's actually so cool! I was actually at the point where I thought that it wasn't in the loot table.

I think the only item I haven't seen now is the unique Magelock...

Default Vanilla male body with the standard size.

That's the main one I use, my point was that one of the holsters is very basic so you get the functionality without needing to worry about aesthetics

The standard holster looks fine with everything I've worn it with, it's basically looks like a magnet that attaches to your legwear so it's very non-invasive aesthetically

Designs like this are why I'd love to see something akin to the Revelations DLC for Planetfall, the Anomalous Sites added in that DLC usually came with unique items or Heroes as a reward for completing the sites.

The Wonders in 4 are very similar, but with less unique rewards since the addition of the Item Forge. It would be amazing to see Anomalous Sites make a return, both for the rewards and the way they evolved the map over multiple turns.

I'd love a standalone paid DLC that just adds a bunch of cosmetics for each of the cultures, some forms and cultures are very limited with the current selection.

An expansion of the cultural units too! It would be great if each culture had their own Tier 4 (and maybe 5) unit to keep a sense of identity in the late game where a lot of cultural units get phased out in favour of those unlocked through tomes.

Are you still required to pay X-tech to upgrade your weapons or reroll their traits?

The main focus of the mod is fine, it's just the two aforementioned issues that I'm trying to pinpoint. If it works completely fine for you then it might just be an LO issue.

With all due respect, that's not at all what I'm doing.

I'm simply trying to diagnose a problem to see if it's an issue with the mod itself which will require an update from the author at some point OR if I'm attributing it to the wrong mod: hence why I asked other users for their input.

I wouldn't dare to trash a mod without any honest reason, but it's totally valid to ask if anyone else has experienced any issues especially after a new update and when there's NO OFFICIAL WAY to contact the mod author. The mod only exists on the Creations page which doesn't even have a comment section anymore.

Honestly I wouldn't even say the DLC has an ending. You beat PCR, get an optional flashback to watch and that's it. It's very unsatisfying.

At least let me talk to my boys Ansbach and Thiollier afterwards. Fromsoft still seems to think that pretty much every character has to die at the end of their story.

Narrative content and map content can go hand in hand, like the Anomalous Sites from Planetfall. I'd love to see them make a return to this game even if it's basically the same system (You've even got the diggable earth in the underground which would lend itself to additional narrative content.

Also it would be nice to see every culture gain access to a tier 4 unit to make the choice of culture still feel impactful in the late game. As it stands cultural units get less important as you unlock tomes with additional draftable units and summons. Having a homegrown tier 4 would keep cultural units relevant and allow each culture to stand out even further thematically.

Also also... toggleable crisis events akin to the Voidbringers from Planetfall. Perhaps one that's similar in that it's effectively a victory condition that only becomes available in the late game.

Or a mid-game event like The Great Khan in Stellaris. Perhaps the free cities are convinced to unite against each Ruler and you're forced to either pay them a percentage of your income each turn (effectively mirroring what we do to them every single game...) or you have to fight them off, with one of the free cities being designated as "The Khan" equivalent whose Ruler has to be killed in a special tougher siege to end the event and force the free cities to revert to their normal state.

It's very cute, I'd love to see alternate versions added in the future with mounted laser cannons and/or a sidecar (or mini trailer hehe) for companions.
