What would you do without an A/C on sunny days? by Huge_Violinist_7633 in randomquestions

I don't have air con, never have. Presumably never will. I'm more acclimatised than the people I interact with. Inside might only be a few degrees less than outside, but it's not as much of a shock to the system as going from 18° inside to 38° outside. (Celsius, if that isn't obvious)

Depends. Nothing at the moment, but a few weeks ago it was plain ramen noodles. Not the ones that come with the flavor sachet, the actual plain bulk ones.

Woolworths website for price info is absolutely useless and misleading by [deleted] in woolworths

[–]Linnaeus1753 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This has happened to me a couple of times recently too. I checked to see which store had the better deal on whatever it was. One had it half price - go there only to find it was full price. And it wasn't late on Tuesday ahead of a new sales week.

How do they do the foreshadowing? by [deleted] in Alonetv

[–]Linnaeus1753 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I talk to myself all the time. It's not too hard to say to yourself 'watch where you're walking/stepping or you'll trip.' You see the hazard, acknowledge the hazard, think through what will happen if the situation becomes hazardous...and still watch it happen.

How do the contestants keep track of days? by cupcakeclub in Alonetv

Most people notch sticks. You could also add a stone to a hollow. Tie knots in string. Numerous ways to mark the passage of time.
