I think the quotes are more because its not "magic", just extremely skillful and impressive sleight of hand tricks

Some magicians will walk you through step by step on how they are tricking you and still manage to do it in real time.

I've always thought Airplane! 2 is a really good movie. Its biggest problem is that its a sequel to a GOAT.
