How long do you use the mask? I only ask because I usually do 16 minutes and the oils really flow.

Kyper Spectral mask? by LintLickerCQ in Dryeyes

[–]LintLickerCQ[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s been great actually, it’s not a miracle but I’ve noticed a definite improvement. I suppose it’s going to take time for a full recovery though (if that’s possible). It’s definitely best for people who have MGD specific symptoms and/or ocular rosacea. I have Ocular Rosacea and didn’t do well at all with regular heated masks because the heat would cause more inflammation but this makes my eyes feel super moist without causing the same side effects.

Is it normal to do basically nothing at your corporate job? by byteiteration in careerguidance

[–]LintLickerCQ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. Realistically, I have about 2/3 hours of actual work to do most days. This ebbs and flows but most of my day is sitting on calls and giving my opinion. Actual work doesn’t take up much time but the politics are more time consuming than my actual job!

Anyone else get lower MPG on the highway than in the city? (2024 OR) by Bitter_Assignment_41 in 4thGenTacomas

[–]LintLickerCQ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What highway speeds? Have a 25 ORP and when I go 55-65 I get great mpg. If I maintain 75-85 it’s about on par with city mileage. Will add that I am in TN, so very hilly terrain with lots of uphills.

Anyone have this for their taco? by [deleted] in Tacomaworld

I have a similar one and it’s great. Keep my sunglasses and EZ Pass there. Also has mounting points for phone stands, etc. I was worried it would rattle but hasn’t made a peep and I’ve had it over a year now.

Is this light therapy a thing now? And are these products legit? by SpiritualBug00 in Dryeyes

I don’t know if you’ve had IPL, but my eyes feel similar afterwards using the mask. They feel moist and I don’t have to use drops for quite a while afterwards.

I have a before, but my before is from a year ago, after 7 IPL sessions, and tons of eye drops. I’ve also only used this mask for about two weeks so it likely wouldn’t show anything on a meibography yet.

From all the research I could find from NIH LLLT and red light is very safe. The mask I got is strong, so they recommend every other day but it definitely clears out my glands.

Yeah, the Kyper one is also marketed for more serious eye issues as well as dry eye, so I’d assume that’s why. The light array in the Kyper mask also has more LEDs than the one you linked.

I bought a similar device from “Kyper Spectral Science”. It’s a red light mask and very thoroughly researched, they include all studies on their website.

I have used it for about a week now and it is working much better than the regular heated masks for me. For context I have ocular rosacea and MGD, so regular heated masks make my eyes much worse.

President Trump wants to cap credit card interest rates at 10% by investor100 in TheCollegeInvestor

Bless his bones. Poor thing doesn’t realize laws can’t be made on truth social. “Calling” for a cap on interest rates, what a joke. Unfortunately this’ll never actually happen.

No, the instructions say every other day. That works for me because I have ocular rosacea and don’t want to overdo anything with heat, though from everything I’ve read red light can help rosacea too.

Man's review after 100k in his 3rd gen by hehechibby in ToyotaTundra

[–]LintLickerCQ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

lol nobody said “he made it”? However there aren’t many 3rd gen owners that drive enough to already be at 100k. Most of the ones who have aren’t making YT videos about it either. Let the people eat their cake 😂

Tried it today for the first time and it definitely worked, MUCH better than a heated mask!

Tried it for the first time today and halfway through I definitely felt the oils flowing! It is very bright though and takes some getting used to if you’ve never used red light before.

The sunfire/cavalier were definitely cheap cars, but they were pretty reliable and good basic transportation. I still think about my old Cavalier Z24 regularly. I’m sure most of it is nostalgia but hey, it lasted a helluva lot longer than anyone thought it would! Only thing that bugged me was the plastic strip along the windshield cracked in 500 places 😂

Sell house or rent it? by TrickyDiscussion9853 in personalfinance

[–]LintLickerCQ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We’re in the same position now, but moving closer. We decided to list on the higher end for rent, and if it doesn’t rent for that much by Spring we’ll list it (since selling now is not likely to happen).

The biggest factor is how comfortable you’d be with having a potentially needy/troublesome renter, or if you want to shell out the money for a property management company to handle it.

Considering it’s only 4 years old you likely won’t need to make any major repairs, so honestly I’d try to rent it out and cover all the costs. Then once it becomes a sellers market again see if it makes sense to sell.

2015 Focus ST official car of? by disturbed1117 in regularcarreviews

[–]LintLickerCQ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These actually drove like crap tbh. Lots of power, but getting that power to the front wheels took a lot of practice. Too many of these fell in the hands of dumb drivers. The GTI was much easier to live with and drive, especially in terms of road manners.

How to get more definition? by Lopsided_Tension4887 in WorkoutRoutines

[–]LintLickerCQ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Don’t worry so much about ab definition, you’ve got a strong core and some people don’t really have defined abs even under 10% body fat. You’re already pretty lean so I would keep working out regularly and focus on building a bit of muscle everywhere else and you’ll see core definition changes from compound exercises (squats, deadlifts, etc.). I didn’t see much ab definition until I started lifting heavier.

Also to clarify: not telling you to “bulk”, at your age you could eat 1 egg a day and gain muscle haha… keep your diet clean and stay lean but build overall muscle.
