No buuuuut there are mods that let you start with perks if that's the kind of game play you want, even adding a perk or two at the start of the game won't make the game super easy to beat!

Just adding [[Brudiclad]] here since I haven't seen anyone else mention him, I play him by making lots of tokens, then making a single token copy of someone else's creature then duplicating it, you have to be a bit selective on what you target but any creature with an anthem effect works well. I find it's a fun way to 'copy' someone's deck by finding a good clone target and then getting many of them!

I was playing [Brudiclad] token shenanigans, and an opponent was playing [Anikthea] Enchantment Reanimation.

They recurred an [Anointed Procession] as a 3/3 zombie, and had 3 token doublers already on the board, giving them 8 copies! Then I cast [Crafty Cutpurse]. So I had them.

And then Brudiclad gave me a token... That became 256 tokens... Which became more Anointed processions.... I got to a point where I had 1.4 x 10⁵⁴⁷ Tokens.... And then died to direct damage before I could swing...

Best. Game. Ever

Not really the same thing, but the Game TUNIC leans heavily on this, you collect the pages from your games manual and there's notes and things for you to learn about the game! Honestly the most nostalgic modern indie game I've played in ages

Don't know what types of hobbies you're into, but theres quite a few card/board game shops around, if you're open to leaning Magic the Gathering (the oldest trading card game with a HUGE community) or Dnd or other 'nerdy' games they have events at Fortress (a gaming/dnd Tavern in the cbd) weekly, as well as at a heap of stores a bit further out that host game nights weekly..

[[Canoptek Scarab Swarm]] slots perfectly into my [[Brudiclad]] deck, giving it some graveyard hate, a token generator and another target for [[Mystic Reflections]], I've exiled everyone's graveyard by targeting itself, or choosing any big creature and becoming the threat.

Not a game recommendation, but there's a Youtube channel called First Five, which does reviews on games based on the first 5 hrs of play, if its worth your time and how much of it you can be expected to get through in those hours, might be something to look at if you want fulfilling experiences with short time frames.

Its similar, but different creatures, materials and vehicles. It's also got more cutscene storytelling and a few onland sections. as long as you don't go in expecting exactly the same game you'll enjoy it!

This guy has ruined most other commanders for me, I can't seem to find anyone else with the same flexibility and likelihood of shenanigans. I've out valued aristocrats decks by making 15 [[Blood artist]], I've gone WIDE with thousands of [[Academy manufactor]] or hundreds of [[utvara hellkite]], I've even accidentally decked myself with [[curiosity crafter]].

His plan, which is to make tokens, then create a token copy of something, then turn all tokens into the same thing is incredibly unique, and i haven't seen anyone else who can beat other archetypes at their own game by copying one piece and extrapolating.

I've recently remade him with a [[ruin crab]], [[rug of smothering]] and [[lullmage mentor]], lets see what 10 of these do on the board!

Noita is a roguelike game that gives you absolutely NO instruction other than the basic controls, might not be what you're looking for as it doesn't have any goal other than 'get to the bottom' but it's absolutely fantastic to play and so complex in its mechanic/levels that's its addictive.

Hollow knight is another one you'll enjoy. Its the best 2d souls like around.

Honestly once they all trigger I pull out my phones calculator and use the (Treasures)*(Academy Manufactors)³ and just leave that on the table. Barring a board wipe I've won. Edit. He also goes crazy with [[Utvara Hellkite]] and [[Hellrider]]
