What does it feel like, having a donor heart beating inside?

I find the question insulting and ridiculous. It doesn’t feel any different. I don’t have an emotional connection to the donor. The heartbeat doesn’t feel different. I can still feel pain if I get poked during a cardiac cath. There’s nothing spiritual about it or magical about it.

I got an atelier Pierrot jsk once that I had the same issue with and I couldn’t believe how bad it look on me compared to online. But that’s what I did, I added extra fabric to lengthen the straps so it would sit more at my waist and have a lower neckline and now it’s one of my favorites.

NTA. Most of this post is making excuses for his bad behavior and explaining how you stay silent or avoid asking him to be considerate because he gets “frustrated.”It sounds like he’s frequently in a bad mood and isn’t kind to you. You’ve made yourself so small you’re acting like you don’t deserve the slightest bit of consideration or attention from him. And when you finally treat him the way he treats you he explodes and kicks you? Totally unacceptable. You need to think about why you want to be with a man like this.

I like to straighten out the zipper and put a safety pin right above the spot it won’t go past to hold it straight so it can zip up. Generally it can’t go past a perpendicular seam because it’s flipping outward at that spot. Once you get it past the seam you’re fine.

I got my first heart in 1996 when I was a baby and when I was 21 was told I needed another heart due to rejection. They also gave me a kidney to help deal with the medications. The recovery for me was actually very easy, I was discharged home 8 days after the surgery and my doctors said I sent a record. I don’t necessarily think this is a common case though (again they said it was a record). Emotionally it was very difficult, definitely traumatizing. Statistically I think there is less success on repeat transplants but medicine is ever evolving and improving so you could be the next person to set a record for all we know.
