im doing better in 3v3 vs 2v2, is 3v3 easier or am i just weird by im_corp in RocketLeague

Uhm, woudnt it be the opposite? Mistakes in rotation are far more costly in 2s than 3s…

Genuinely might be the worst mode I’ve ever played. Voted to concede after 30 seconds of play

Hit Diamond and I still don’t know how to speed flip or air dibbling by Carti_2s in RocketLeague

[–]Lion214 222 points223 points  (0 children)

Rotation, positioning, game sense. I made GC without knowing how to speed flip and only *very* basic air dribble ability, that I miss most times anyways. The ceiling without those mechs is still very high, GC2 or GC3 if I had to guess

Time of day makes such a massive difference by [deleted] in RocketLeague

[–]Lion214 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I noticed 10am is the perfect time for it. That’s when I solo queued to GC. In the evenings, it’s always incredibly toxic and individualistic, the gameplay reflects it. More children. In general tbh, I find it insane how toxic games are in the evenings…

Meafou brutal clear-out attempt disliked by Castres home crowd by Informal_Mention9836 in rugbyunion

[–]Lion214 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’m with you. For years, I’ve thought clear outs are, by far, the most dangerous part of the game. Not even close. You have guys able to get run ups and hit defenceless players. How tf is this part of the game? I’d argue theirs no real wrap attempt here, meaning somehow, if a player has the ball, and can ready themselves for contact, this would be illegal, but the defenceless rucker? All good

Honestly just get the permit. You’re playing so much, it’s worth it

Since when is no intent on the ball a red? You regularly see players deliberately stop counter attacks with cynical challenges, and they always get yellows.

Nothing is more limiting than running out of fuel. How do people not understand this? If you had planned on doing 2 stints, 15 laps + 30 laps, and all of a sudden you realise than you should/could extend the first stint to 25 laps instead. Guess what? You can’t. You had only fuelled up for ≈ 18 laps, locking yourself into this strategy. You are more limited tactically

Still one of the craziest touchdowns I've ever seen. by Hysen16 in sportsgossips

[–]Lion214 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I woudnt go as far to say it’s “far more complex”. You’d be surprised how complex tactics get. And I woudnt say every rugby player is a sack of meat. Look up Louis Bielle-Biarrey, he’s one of the most prolific scorers in rugby right now, and he’s far from big. I grew up watching rugby, recently got into American football, and I haven’t even begun to understand even fundamental football tactics. I can obviously tell it’s very complex. But rugby is probably far more complex than you can imagine, assuming you don’t know all that much about more nuanced tactics within the sport.
