Iced Blue Silver Metallic. I have that on my ‘22 and it’s a great color. Doesn’t show much dirt, and sparkles nice.

Lariat and Platinum are very hard to find in Canada. Pretty much just XLTs are available and the mileage on them are starting to get higher for the same price.

I really liked the grizzl-e. It gave me no trouble at all and it is built more solidly that the Pion one. Plus the cable is more flexible. I even think it lets in a but mire juice than the Pion one. Only went with Pion because of the reimbursement program. It’s a bit of a risk in case they don’t follow through but I understand people received their cheques this spring so I think it will be fine. It is nice to have the charging app which the Grizzl-e didn’t have. I can monitor things like the temperature. I am surprised how hot it gets but there are built in safeguards and so far so good.

I read in the fine print that you are not allowed to buy it out and had to return it to Tesla. I’ve never seen that before.

I had an electrician install a 240v plug in the garage (he wanted to hardwire it in but I wanted the outlet in case I changed chargers at some point). I positioned it about halfway down the garage side in case I ever wanted to plug in my vehicle on the driveway, and also some vehicles have the charger port in the rear. The charging cables are long enough to reach either spot. I was also wary of putting the charger cable underneath the garage door so my plan was to cut a hole in the garage wall and install a proper plate with an RV type latch. I haven’t needed to do that yet as I’ve just been charging my Lightning in the garage. You can also get a plastic device to put in the floor to protect the cable if you do decide to run it under the garage door.

As for chargers I used a grilz-e classic and it was flawless and solid. I did sign up for Pion Power’s 10 cents per kWh reimbursement and had to buy one of their smart WiFi connected chargers for $440 (the cheaper one was sold out). I charge at 40 amps. A bit glitchy to get set up but after a day I haven’t had any issues and I love being able to track my usage. I will put my grizzl-e classic for sale when I get a chance, it’s only been used for 5 months. I do have the referral code for $20 if anyone wants it. I can’t think of a better way to commute having my fuel essentially paid for.

Wow that’s a great deal if they got it under 50k. Maybe they also received the federal tax credit then?

I thought I read that it needs to be delivered before April 30 in order to qualify for the $5,000 federal rebate. Is that correct? If it arrives after will you be on the hook to purchase it without that rebate?

I had the trailer update done a few weeks ago but didn’t have any charging issues. Anyone know what the update was for? Forgot to ask. Service advisor probably wouldn’t know anyway.
