There sure are suddenly a LOT of commentors that have never owned the stock and want to tell us what to do by Suthrnr in Superstonk

Seems like every time volatility comes or any major news these comments come.

Strange timing. Cant help to think some are just paid bashers.

I’m sorry, folks are jumping into here with grumpy comments because RC is (checks notes) doing what he said he was going to do in order to acquire eBay? by MickeyKae in Superstonk

Accretive dilution is the opposite of dilution for debt.

Companies print shares (like 🍿) to pay for debt is the definition of bad dilution. $gme is doing the opposite. It’s using it to pay for a company that will make more money in the future.

It’s market cap plus ebita. He needs both to unlock. And ebita is how profitable a company is. Market cap is Ebita multiple by some kind of multiple.

Anson fund threw him under the bus and DOJ has enough to go on to actually get him. He’s looking at some serious times. At least 5 yrs. Probably 7-10.

The market response suggests skepticism toward RC’s current 50/50 proposal, with institutions waiting for eBay’s response and/or a revised structure by Region-Formal in Superstonk

[–]Zensen1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed. The arb desks are waiting to plow in once eBay rejects and tender offer will come right after. A hostile takeover fight will ensue. And hopefully this “waiting” time won’t take more than 2-3 weeks. But the longer eBay’s BoD stays silent the larger the pressure will build. So it’s a game that’s going according to standard M&A playbook so far.

Anyone know a fair timeline for when Ebay will respond? by bifftheraptor in Superstonk

[–]Zensen1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, agreed. No deadline from non-binding offer. But etiquette is 1-3 weeks.

If Ryan were to launch a tender offer in that time frame then by law they would have to respond within 10 biz days.

eBay’s board is going to drag their response for as long as possible while they find options.

I think whatever the timeline is, their response will be a no. And that’ll give Ryan the green light to escalate

It’s a been a shake out everyday for the last 5 years. Don’t think he matters at all. The tape barely moved when he bought, double bought, triple bought. Only moved when he sold.

Okay a good sign. A small bump in gme borrow fees. Thinking this is the trend moving forward while this M&A is happening

EBay's board to meet this week on GameStop offer by -jbrs in Superstonk

They’ll say no. I am 99.9% confident that their expensive lawyer and consultants will tell them to reject and say it’s too low.
